Had a little look at the jumps races at Haydock tomorrow and the "one" to recommend is FRONTIER SPIRIT 7-1 5:15. Form figures don't look pretty but now running off a very handy mark and has ideal conditions. In the other races I like DOLATULO 1:15 and 28-1 is way too big for a yard in such fine form. LOYAUTE 16-1 3:30 back to 2 miles again and has done nothing but improve and take some decent scalps this season. Another improver is BALLINCURRIG 4-1 4:40 and has a favourites chance. I should do a little yankee maybe.......
14.05 Ascot- Semeen- 7/1 Finished last season with stormer winning the last two races, including winning over this distance on similar ground, comes in to this race 7lbs higher but cant see no reason why that should stop him 14.40 Ascot- Pethers Moon- 9/2 NAP Cant believe im going against my old boy (Harris Tweed) but PM is surely a G1 horse in waiting and should see this field off, the stable is striking the iron whilst its hot, he ran a blinder in the Jockey Club Stakes at Newmarket last week and is surely going to one better. He has beaten Gatewood, on his final 3yr old start which isn't bad form then put that on top of him splitting Gospel Choir & Trading Leather he surely will take 1st prize 15.15 Ascot- Ribbons- 2/1 Surely isn't fully exposed as a handicapper and can maintain her unbeaten streak in them. Put a line through her last run as she was unlucky as anything but will be happier now back in a big field
Pricewise- Haydock 1;50 Broadway Buffalo + Firebird Flyer, 3;30 Dubawi Island »Lingfield 2; 55 Snow Sky »ASCOT 3;50 Don't Call Me
With you on Pethers Moon, Wooley, but got to oppose in the other two. Going with Glorious Protector in the 2-05 - I know horses DO win first time out, but it's rarely with my money on them! I prefer GP who had a promising opener in April and seems a consistent sort. Ribbons looks the deal in the 3-15, but I don't bet on Hayley Turner's mounts, no matter how good they seem! Godolphin's Feedyah carries my sheckels
Im afraid your chucking your money in the bin Reebs!! If you saw me running you'd bet on me ! But shes pretty good at mounting them aswell
Haha wish I was young sky walker - turn 43 on Sunday - gonna cheer my team on in the hope a miracle can happen and West Ham beat city at the Emptyhad
Hello lads. Just in from a cracking night at the Giro D'Italia time trials down at The Merchant...great stuff...basking in sunshine until the race started and the heavens opened...spoiled it a bit for my favs the Movistar boys although few of the teams were in tact after 15k apart from the Aussies who had options. The Elms ran out of beer at 8pm and had to close..shocking! Forecast tomorrow for the Country run is even worse although last year in Italy witnessed horrendous weather. Could have sworn I saw Al Zaroorni skulking about with a well filled Gladstone bag....might be wrong though.. Time for a form study.
7:40 Catterick Real Tigress She won very well at Beverley on Monday, was backed a little too! Turned out quickly again under a 6lb penalty, would be more confident if the ground was a bit better but still a bet at 7/2
Does todays Scoop 6 deserve a seperate thread as us 606'ers try our hardest to not get beat on leg 1?
amongst all the good racing today, do not neglect Interakt in the 6 55 War- unseatted the amateur jockey at salisbury when fancied, got David Probert on tonight 12/1
For whats its worth my selections would be: L'Unique / Broadway Buffalo Casual Smile Pether's Moon Exotic Guest / Point North Dubwai Island / Loyaute Redvers / Dont Call Me
Ladbrokes are a joke! Has anyone else on this forum had their bets restricted with Ladbrokes? I had 10 Euros E/W on the Chester Cup winner @ 25/1 earlier this week, last night a tried to place a bet on March @ 9/1 but couldn't get a cent on, today I attempted to place 10 Euros E/W on Loyaute @ 16/1 but was restricted to 2 E/W Call themselves bookmakers
