Mercedes 1st... Mercedes 2nd... ................. ................. ................. ................. ................. ................. ................. ................. ................. ................. ................. ................. ................. ................. ................. ................. ................. ................. ................. The Rest...... Oh well, this race should cure insomnia!
yaaaaaaaawn, already won in a midfield car, unlike any of the other champions who have always needed a front runner, and do you have any proof he hasn't been on fair terms, other than the pathetic jealous whining of bitter loser who had the habit of blaming everyone other than himself for his constant failings?
What's going on with Vettel? Maybe he needs a blown diffuser which will give him lots and lots of grip and leave the 2014 hybrids to those that can adapt .
I know Lewis says the Redbull has slightly better downforce but they have a better engine, but they must have a done a pretty decent job to the aero for them not be eating the rear tyres compared last season. didn't he finish somewhere like 12th after starting on pole?
Oh dear, Hamelots showing their lack of intelligence as usual, maybe he needs a car that isn't in bits in the garage. And what's wrong with Hamilton, oh nothing, now he has a car 2-3 seconds a lap faster than everyone else he might actually have a shot at a title. I imagine having illegal tyre tests with the suppliers (who also happen to be your new non F1 commercial partners) helps quite a lot.
Hamilton had a shot at the title in 2012, but it wasn't Lewis's driving that was at fault it was his Mclaren team that ruined it for him.
I think what BLS is trying to say is that Vettel v Webber was in a very good car, what BLS wants to see is Vettel v Ricciardo in a good car, but due to what Silver posted re. lots of problems for Vettel we are being denied that.
vettel is struggling, even before today,he's been slower than ric.this is a fact.before the start of the season, lots of ppl were saying lewis would struggle this season, and nico is favourate to win the wdc.so ofcourse lewis fans are going to be happy when lewis does well.vettel hasnt had world champion team mates, lewis has had 2 and he's beaten them both.thats one of the reasons why ppl doubt vettel, they believe he hasnt had a really strong team mate, until now,and he's coming up short.doesnt mean vettel isnt a top driver, but maybe he's not as good as some think.we'll see as the season unfolds.
As I recall during the qualifying session for this race Hamilton and raikonnen were caught out by not going out on the extreme wets so they were knocked out without the chance of fighting for pole (they're own mistakes). If they were in the final session do you really think vettel would have beat them both to Poole and won therace . As for the car, it allowed bourdais to qualify third so it must have been well suited to the track because he was not a very good driver
I have been working too hard to cast my vote but if had it would have been Lewis Hamilton. Short of a technical problem I can't see him being beaten just yet, Nico has it to prove and he will be doubly aggressive to maintain the championship lead but the momentum is with Lewis. However, I don't think he will win every race from here in.
That reply is every bit as biased as the original anti Vettel comment. All that has happened right now is that roles have reversed- Lewis has the dominant car and Seb is having issues with his. Reserve judgment until we get closer performance. The only sad thing right now is that we haven't got a Hamilton/Vettel/Alonso (and more!) fight in closely matched cars. Very disappointed to see the margins so far this weekend. Had hoped for bigger inroads from the chasing pack but this is a Merc domination for the next few races. Let's see where we sit tomorrow in quali. The podium battle should be quite fun with Ricciardo having to start from 10 back and Vettel in the dark on his reliability. Ferrari, McLaren, Force India and Williams all battling it out there.
Vettel is just had a poor start to the season and he still has more points then Riccardo. Look how bad Hamilton was in 2011, crashed into other drivers almost every race and 2009 wasn't much better.
Just like packhunters, once one comes out to make sure all is okay, they all follow suit shortly after..........
Whatever inroads they have made have been more than probably matched by Mercedes. The only ones who could get close really are Redbull in the coming weeks.
The others have closed the gap to each other, but not to Mercedes. I think the other had a performance gain but as I said some time before, Mercedes isnt going to sit still and it seems as though they have made a step forward as well. The distance between them and the next car is about the same, but I have noticed that Hamilton is doing even better on his long run. Seems like he has full control of his dragon.
According to what we saw today, Hamilton and that Mercedes could probably start on hard tyres and still lap the field by the end of the race. On race pace he is way ahead of team mate Rosberg too...about a second. Thats really scary.
