Thanks for posting it, it's a good read.
People on here, will have seen my prediction, that we won't see him in hoops again.

    Good article, thanks for posting.
Northolt, he will be with us until January. If he tears up the league then he will be sold for 10 mil+, if not we will be stuck with the little gobshite for a bit longer!!

If we can get him for 10 million, then we might as well.

Good, well balanced article. If all the paper talk is true, & I wouldn't for one moment assume that it is. I would sell now, he's beginning to annoy me now.

PHe's annoying me too...BUT I'd quite like to stay in the Prem and we're more likely to do that with him in the team. Especially as we HAVEN'T BOUGHT ANYONE YET!! Aagh!!

He is getting on my tits as well atm, but I'd keep for now. Hopefully we might get a takeover, Tarb might get a new contract, we may sign a couple of classy players and he may keep his gob shut and let his feet do the talking for a bit.

He's said some pretty **** things recently considering he's supposed to be Qpr captain, but there's no doubting the kids ambition, surely its down to us to match that.

Two sides to this question really... what would I do? Everything I could to hold on to him until January in the hope that a few headline performances increase his stock for a big sale. He is after all the only potentially real asset the club has and thereby the only means of significantly reducing its substantial debts.

What will the club do? As things stand, carelessly mismanage the whole show and lose him for a relative pittance.

The thing I notice with all these reports about Adel, is that they all stem from Daily Mail articles. Not once have I read of a direct quote to a reporter.Might be a case of "Don't believe all you read"

Keep. January might be a different story, as I reckon a good few months would change the 10million to 17million........

I think that if Adel uses his brain, he will realise that in order to convince clubs the size of Arsenal, Moan U etc that he is special talent then he will need to prove this over a full season in the premiership. He is working with a manager he respects who gives him the platform on which to perform. Last year it appears that apart from the tantrum at leeds, and the game against Derby when Savage kicked him of the park (I believe Savage says marked) he played very wel in a side that was doing well. be interesting to see how he does if were not winning.

I would also like to mention the name Dave Seaman. We had him for 2 or 3 years and eventually sold him to Arsenal. Quality goalkeeper that was kept busy at Ragers as our back 4 were not as good as the Arsenal back 4 (hopefully this does not come across as being disrespectful) and in his first season at Arsenal he conceded 16 goals or something like that.

I guess the point I am trying to make is that IF Adel wants to play for a bigger side he needs to be able to prove he can cut the mustard whether the team is doing well or not and also know that shooting your mouth off at every opportunity isn't going to help you win friends and influence others. And we shouldn't believe everything we read in the press..........

If Connor Wickmas going for £8 million who didnt really set alight the championship last year, then Tarbs is at least worth £10 million. Would take it with maybe a part exchange (maybe routledge, zhirkov, eboue) depending on which club he went too.

I believe we should keep him and give him a chance to shine for us in the Prem. So what if we get 10 million for him tomorrow (and I'm not sure we would) - we'd only have to spend that money again to replace him, and we aren't getting Fabregas with that sort of cash.

I don't see him going anywhere this season and I'm sure NW has made it abundantly clear that if he does have lofty aspirations he'll need to prove his worth and adjust his attitude with us before anyone looks at him seriously.

This 10m figure has been banded about most probably by his agent. 6m is a more realistic sum. Lets remember that although he is a real talent, he has had some awful games, doesn't pass when well placed, has sulked like a child more than once etc etc. Can you see many managers wanting an idiot like this?

I couldn't care less what he's been saying recently, that don't bother me in the slightest. But as a player we would probably be better cashing in and building a proper all-round side as we move into the top league in the world. Unfortunately, as the Club is at the moment, I can't see any of this happening.

I would just like to remind you that his natural successor would be Buz

Are all your comments a practical joke to wind me up? This guy is a nutcase and says some crazy things but who cares!! He got us promoted and he is the best hope we have of staying up.

“Like I said after the Leeds game, 5-6m SELL SELL SELL” = CLUELESS.

Who in their right mind would be willing to sell there top assist provider and top goalscorer who on top of that because of his ability draws some much attention from the other team it free’s up space for the less able around him. Take him out the team that’s 40 odd goals!!

Taarabt is in a different league to Buz so he is in now way a replacement. We should not be selling our star player to raise funds to buy. We need to add to what we have a turf out those not good enough to fee the wage bill up a bit.

Goals win games and he is our match winner. He is a fruit loop but so was Cantona, Di Canio and Stan Bowles. Don’t forget this guy is only 22 and will improve. Most importantly he is our best hope of staying up.

What I REALLY meant to say was under no circumstances should we let go of the most talented player we've had in a generation. Thanks for reminding me Andy! ;)

Sword Hoopster- Let me guess you think 4-4-2 is how every team should play. Your favourite players are Bircham, Ainsworth and Blackstock and other players who try hard but lack ability. You cheer louder for a sliding tackle in the middle of the park than Taarabt curling yet another one in the top corner when the conventional thing to do is pass.

Also you preferred it when pitches were just muddy fields and you think goalkeepers shouldn’ be allowed to wear gloves and shin pads are for girls.

In modern football a player like Taarabt is like gold dust and we are fortunate Warnock has recognised that what football dinosaurs like the majority of fans on this board clearly have failed to grasp.
