    I do want to subscribe to your view, but I feel like Luke's going to be closer to the truth. A loooooong time ago, my stance was "may as well stand by Ashley - he's going nowhere, and has a stack of cash". Obviously we all know the lack of ambition is his doing, but for fcks sake we must be able to do better than Pardew, for all the faults of the owner. Sadly, I've kind of answered my own question - as Luke Edwards points out. The lack of ambition we continually bemoan is precisely why it's increasingly likely he'll stick with Pardew.
