Gus Poyet had a huge job on his hands with a very difficult fixture list, but the Black Cats some how managed an unbelievable 13 out of a possible 15 points in the last 5 fixtures, beating Chelsea and Manchester United on the way, and taking a hard earned point from Manchester City away! Last night after it was confirmed that Sunderland were staying up spirit was high amongst the players and fans, and one player took to Twitter for a laugh and joke with fans after what seemed like a few beers. USA international Jozy Altidore was on fine form as fans gave him a bit of light-hearted grief at the fact that he's only scored one goal all season... There was the boozing... please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image Nice to see Jozy happy, looked a lot better last night against WBA and controlled the ball very well
I just wish the big, daft twat would score.... if he doesn't get goals this world cup, he's putting himself under enormous pressure. after another few games next season, and he misses a sitter that could well be that. unless Gus can transform him into some kind of midfield or CH beast. At least at CH he won't score too many OGs.
Jigsaw Altidore... But he did very well everywhere else on the pitch last night I think he'll be sold in the summer. he certainly isn't a "next level" player that we need
He would be wasting his time with the Blonde, she may well be in a great position just lying waiting for it and he would still put it WIDE!!!! Well done to Gustavo, The Lads and the greatest set of FANS the world has ever seen!!!! NOW LET'S KICK ON NEXT SEASON...... Ha'way the LADS!!!!!!!
Can't see the pics. Stupid f**king forum. I really like the lad. Hope he gets his scoring boots on next season.
Hope not, I view him as a foreign player who needs a season to settle in. He does make things happen even it isn't in the net.
Don't like being critical about our players, but Dozy is shi*e!!!He has scored one goal all season, which for a centre-forward is rubbish!!He missed a sitter against WBA...we have made a mistake signing this guy...get shot ASAP!!!
