Just seen Sunderland won which means nothing can be done now. Sorry you didn't do a Houdini act like we did but at least it's only a temporary visit to the Championship where you'll be able to win lots of matches (we were on the edge of obscurity). I'll be looking out for you at the top of the Championship next season and hope to see some celebrations in the final week(s). You will soon be back in the Premier. I hope you can keep Snodgrass. Best wishes Ron - Wycombe (Dynamo) Wanderers
Thanks chaps but the table doesn't lie. We just have to learn from this shambles of a season and hope we do OK next season but a lot of damage repair to do and key decisions to make ( board not got a lot of those right this season so worried!). Unfortunately it's a tough league so no guarantees we will be up any time soon. Good luck next season.
To be honest I'm kind of relieved, was a bit agonising waiting for the drop, at least now we can bring in a decent manager to build a squad in the Championship. I don't want Adams though, he's just too inexperienced for me, I quite like Malky as he's done well in the Championship previously. So what do you guys reckon?, who would be a great manager for us in the Championship?
All this talk of "how well Malky did in the Championship" but not one mention of how many times he bottled it with Cardiff before the finally did get promoted.
Did he? I thought was there for 3/4 years? Just checked Wiki and of course you are right and of course I am wrong so apologies Second time I've got my facts wrong after saying we've only had one penalty this season last night - must try harder!
Think you might be thinking of Dave Jones. He did bottle it with them a few times. Remember when they bottled it when we went up?
i'd like to see Malky at CR guess we'll see what the club's ambitions are based on the next appointment - settle for championship football or push for promotion.
As long as.... 1. We have the finances straight all the time and are struggling to pay the bills, buy new players wtc 2. We stay above the clowns down south
