    I can see it now. Liverpool are 8-0 up and need one more goal to win the league, in the last minute a corner comes in, we clear and a counterattack develops with Shola scoring the most scrappy goal you have ever seen. We celebrate like we have won the league, Pardew even charging down the line towards our fans, nutting a bewildered Rogers along the way, all the while screaming 'FAAACCCKKIIINNN SSSSCCCOOUUUSSEEE KKKAAAANNNNTTTTSSSS!!!!!'

    TBH I would piss myself laughing if that ever happened.

    Just had a thought, if we lose to Liverpool, Sunderland beat Swansea, Man City beat West Ham and Stoke beat WBA, Sunderland will finish a measly 7 points and two places behind us in 12th. Embarrassing given how far ahead of them we were earlier in the season.

    Yeah, but we have been pathetic for 5 months virtually. Sunderland gained as many points in last 4 matches as they got in 1st 13 matches this season.

    Anything can happen in football, as seen time and time again.

    Liverpool going through a dodgy spell, whilst we are on a Unbeaten Run without conceding a Goal, and scoring as many goals as Liverpool during the past week, so you never know. <doh>

    I wont be betting on it but I'm expecting a bigger thrashing than 4-0, I'm thinking more like 6-0.
