The race of the day I think, Terrific is obviously well bred and the stable has a good record here but she looks a bit slow and its unlikely we will see the best of her in this, has to be opposed at 2/1. Bright Approach was impressive on debut and the form has worked out very well, she could be the class horse in the race but she has her work cut out from stall 9 on a track that might not be ideal for her, Gosdens were winning every race looking like class horses at the time and a lot of them have not backed it up, she has a good chance but 9/4 looks short enough considering. Brown Diamond is a really nice filly who has caught the eye in a couple of above average maidens, whether she wants this far im not sure, shes by Fastnet Rock who can produce middle distance types, out of a Darshaan mare so its certainly possible she could stay, sounds like they will ride her quiet and this has the potential to get tactical which could go against her if they ride to get the trip from the inside. Lady Tyne hacked up in the mud last season, the form looks pretty good on paper but it might have been a result of her handling the conditions much better than her rivals and while she could be anything, id want to see her prove it on decent ground. Secret Persuit won as she liked over a mile last time, shes bred to be a miler pretty much and I have serious doubts about the trip for her. Groovejet is a likeable filly, she lacks the potential of some of these but shes no mug and she looks the possible pace in the race, she porbably shouldnt be 33/1 but she probably wont be good enough even if getting the run of things. Full Moon Fever looks to have plenty on here, was given a good ride to win at Wolves in what was probably an above average maiden for the track but Turner got caught sleeping on the 2nd who was giving her 5 pounds, hard to make a case for her getting involved in this. Anipa is very interesting here I think, Sea The Stars filly who is a half sister to Flower Bowl winner Ave, she was well positioned in a slowly run race at Windsor last time but she won it well and could be improving. She may lack the class of some but she is tough, if they go a crawl she could get the run of the race and were she to steal a couple of lengths she will take a bit of catching, saver at 25/1. And last but hopefully not least, Psychometry, Niarchos won this a few years ago with the Oaks winner Light Shift and while its unlikely this filly will follow, she is a nice prospect and this has been the plan for some time. She was an unlucky loser at Ascot first time out but showed her quality in the race and went on to win her maiden third up at Kempton, travelling strongly and showing a good turn of foot. The trip should be fine and Moore should be able to slot in nicely behind Groovejet and Anipa in maybe 3rd or 4th, and if all goes to plan, press the button off a smooth trip and run away with it.

I believe I flagged it up a couple of days ago that the yard is recovering from illness and should be followed. Some seriously well handicapped horses at the yard now! Well done for posting LEMONS GENT there Ollie!

Nyanza could be a bridle job but Deauville Dancer 9/2 might be worth a chance at the prices, hasnt seen a whip yet and taking a big step up in trip here, might be a sighter before they really try but why book Baker on the AW if your not going for it.

some drift on Nyanza 5/4 out to 5/2, won comfy, Deauville Dancer looks a bit of a monkey, maybe inexperience, first time hes really been in a race but hes a nice looking horse, could have a few races in him if they can sort him out.

Recoreded the Chester action earlier...gonna watch it now.

I haven't had a bet at the track for a while now apart from a well known sprinter I was tipped a while ago.

It is picturesque but the racing is frankly ****,two G3's in three days and a heap of bookie sponsored sprint h'caps.

Magician won the Dee Stakes last year before winning the Irish 2000 Guineas and another G1 win at the BC..what happens,the race is devalued from G3 to Listed status!!

We really have some amazing ****wits running our sport.
