Matty came across well on RH tonight. Brucie said he's promised Matty that he'll be playing in the final. Frankly, he needs to be in from the start.

Yes, I know, was listening to R.H. at the same time as watching it live over 'ere. He deserves it. He may not get too many starts in the PL next season, but a fantastic player to have around for the Euro competition & to help us defend our FA Cup win !!!

The way things are going with players cup tied, injured or possibly suspended, anyone still available is going to start.

He's been great for us the past few years, injury aside. Glad he's got the goals in the cup run. Deserves to start the final and deserves to remain as one of our 'squad' forwards to cover Jelavic and Long - and push them for a starting spot.

He's always scored goals when he's had a run in the team, too many people forget that.

I was so glad when we didn't sell him in January, I thought he would still be very useful for us.

He's certainly proved that pretty well...

Matty made some great runs into space off the ball in addition to his top quality goal but nobody picked him out when he was wide open. He's been really impressive since he came back. Deserves to start at Wembley. But what the hell has happened to Sagbo? He looks yards off the pace. Bruce has a difficult decision who to play up front with Matty on the 17th unless we go with a lone striker (hope not).

If he'd been in a slightly different position may have tapped in Meyler's shot to tie up the game an could have had a very different result.

I'd play Fryatt and Koren as a front two, Koren was actually very impressive morning with some of his through balls. He and Fryatt also have a much better understanding than Fryatt and Sagbo, having played a couple of seasons in the Championship together.

Not a bad idea. Koren certainly has the skills to get open and put the short through balls in for Matty to score. Definitely a better choice than Sagbo.

Sagbo offers something different. Fryatt to start final is a testament to Matty's quiet determination to do well for this club.

Played well last nite, for me the most natural goalscorer the club has. I'm sure blockhead would have him back for The Prem if we are not bale to convince him to stay

Surely Mr Jelavic might just be looking over his shoulder now? Super Matt is on fire!

Who's more likely to score based on is track record and current form, Matty; he therefore has to start against Arsenal particularity if we are going one up top. Also if fit I would play Aluko behind him. 4-4-1-1 for me.

I used to be a fan of Sagbo but I'm not too sure anymore. He rarely seems to win anything in the air and his movement is frankly not up to standards compared to Fryatt.

I think for the cup final we should play one up front but with a Koren/Boyd/Aluko playing just behind. I still think places are up for grabs so the Everton game might still have some value.

Sagbo has all the attributes, he just doesn't seem to know what to do with them.

He's big and strong, with good ball control, but he never seems to be in the right place at the right time.

He should be a great striker, but his positioning and decision making seem to be all over the place.
