http://www1.skysports.com/football/...ut-new-league-for-premier-league-feeder-clubs reading that about the possibility of Premier League sides being able to have a B team in a lower league IMO can only be a good thing as a Sunderland fan. it would allow us to have an identity running all the way through the football club. It would allow say Kevin Ball to gain the experience to maybe one day take over as the first team coach but more importantly it would give us a better chance of bringing the younger players through. They would be playing competitive football and not in a daft u21 league with no atmosphere. maybe a new league would be a way for Celtic and Rangers to enter the football league
Personally think its a fantastic idea Barca/Madrid have done it and look at what they have created Obviously the likes of Chelsea/Utd/Arsenal etc would be better But for clubs with fully running academies this could be brilliant, would seriously benefit us imo
It's a nice idea, as has been said on other threads, all for it provided the "smaller" clubs don't lose out - in reality this is surely very hard to achieve though?
What they need to do instead of b teams is to twin teams between the higher and lower leagues. It has got to be easier to put into place too.
Anything which brings Celtic or Rangers anywhere near our leagues should be thrown in the bin ASAP. That PRICK Alex Salmond wants indepenpance for Scotland, i say let them have it, aqnd when it all goes tits up dont come with your begging bowl, and that applies to football and everything else.
