The Meyler 'stamp' looks nothing in it really - it was high speed and Januzaj just falls in front of him, no case to answer IMHO

I agree, Janidive's leg swings quickly under Meyler's leg. If Meyler did it deliberately then I applaud his leg swing anticipation.

He doesn't alter his stride pattern, just coincidental.

So let's pretend Januzaj didn't kick the ball away what would have happened? Meyler would have just stamped down on the ball and left it there for ages. Hardly seems a natural movement to me. Unless he was trying to stamp on the kid of course.

I think his/our best case for defence could be 'It was Januzaj though in fairness...'

So was the bit of spittle colliding with Hart's face, but Boyd still got shot down in flames by the footballing world.

Weight shifted onto that foot lunging forward. Hard to move quickly when your weight is on it.

Looks dodgy but I don't think it's that bad. Janujaz didn't make much of it.

Bruce just said to RH that Fryatt was going to start the final after the semi, but his goal tonight pretty much made it dead set.

just my initial feeling ( and I was watching on a pretty bad stream ) hopefully there will be no retrospective action as no matter what anybody thinks of Meyler we really don't have great options at this point
    if we lose another player

Thankfully, for now, you won't get an answer from him.
