Probably responsible for sending the fox that attacked the chickens as a result our players missed on high quality eggs full of protein. Instead they started the pie diet with the fitness results seen on the pitch! Terrible... How long do you think such an inquest may last?
They probably got a game at some point in the same season, we used that many players. Prince Phillip is probably more mobile than Riise.
Read the Al Fayed Michael Jackson statue story. I conclude this about MAF: a) he's not dealing from a full deck b) a couple tacos short of a combo-plate c) not all the Indians are in the canoe d) the light's on, but nobody is home MAF does make an interesting point in the story worthy of consideration: "Players need someone very close. You saw me with the players in the changing room and when they're eating lunch, it was a very close relationship for the players to feel they want to sacrifice, play hard and want to deliver. They miss that now and I hope [Khan] wakes up. I tried to help him and advise him and put him on the right way.
Perhaps that true, but perhaps he's just a wealthy, important man who deceives himself about how loved he is by the people who he pays. I'm sure he believes what he's saying, but it might be his ego talking rather than the truth. Most professionals who I have heard speak about it tend to wish the chairman would stay out of the changing room and let the real football men take care of the football side of things. I suspect that the players' relationship with the manager of the time is a bigger factor than their relationship with the club owner. Khan has made some mistakes and, like many others, including Al Fayed, has to take responsibility for relegation, but to suggest that we've gone down because he wasn't pally enough with the players is almost as ridiculous as that statue.
Abramovitch,is often in the changing room with the players, and is a frequent visitor to the training ground so its horses for courses, maybe Chelsea lost the title due to the Chairmans undue influence.
Respect to MAF, but I heard the interview last night and concluded that it's a pity that he decided to speak in that manner.
Shad Khan has said next season won't be about "balancing the books," hinting that he would be willing to lose money to make the team more competitive in the Football League Championship. "We're going to do whatever it takes to put the best team on the field," he said. "I'm committed and we're going to do whatever to get them back."
