I like him a lot. I know he's frustating at times but that's only because he tries things - and keeps trying. Love or loathe stats they don't lie. Well done Pablo. <applause>

Pablo is a good player, he is prone to a mistake, usually his short passing can be a bit off, but when it comes to using his head and finding that pass to open defences up, there is no better, in the Swans team at least.

Im still not sure of him as a winger yet, but as an AM, he is superb IMO

I agree there, but it is because sometimes he is actually looking for the killer ball and I dont want us to take taht from him. I do find him the most frustrating player I have seen, from moments of brilliance to utter ****e. Just wish he wasnt made from marshmallows and would just stand up a bit.

Some players just don't have it in them regarding the physical aspect of the game but a good player compensates by not getting caught with ball, this takes quick thinking, this to weigh up the options on who and when to pass and time he has on the ball ,there's a bloke next to me who's favourite name for him is "minge " ! bite my lip thinking there's only 1 fanny I can see and it isn't Hernandez

He did...in the first few months of the season. He quickly fell back into his place.

To hold this stat at the end of a difficult season for the Swans is pretty impressive.

Hmmm not sure I agree with the Mail here, doubt Hernandez is the Premier league's most creative player, where do they make up theses figures?

Pablo as a winger has been very poor for me, but since he's played the AM role, he's been much more effective. Still nt sure if he's a 90 minute player or an impact player yet.

Even when the stats dont lie people wont cut the guy a bit of slack !

Give him a bit of credit , he may well not be the most creative in real terms but surely this is proof enough that he offers us plenty more in terms of his positive aspects thn he does his negative aspects .

Trying to convince people of his abilities is very hard to do,mostly because alot of football fans are clueless, Pablo isnt even injured as often as some may think, check out the amount of games he played last season , im sure this season isnt so bad either, what we must do is give him some support from the terrraces, it grates with me that when im there people are getting on his case for every misplaced pass when its job to do the difficult thing and create, if we had a team of sideways passing Leon Brittons im sure many would be happy but its not going to unlock defences.

Pablo isnt perfect of course but thats why he plays for the Swans and not Barca, having said all that you dont play for Spain on the wing if your a duffer , id extend his contract this season and keep playing him at 10 , Monk done well keeping him there as opposed to Laudrup rotating him with Routs and Nathen, im glad Pablo i getting a bit of priase, he can be extremely frustrating but if he felt the same love as the likes of Shelvey(who because he did the "swim away" is allowed to pass the ball 40yrds into touch when ever he likes) i feel Pablo would get even better.

Imagine Pablo getting love from the terraces and the confidence he could take from that ? i saw him slip on the floor against Villa(they were all slipping in the first half by the way) and pablo was kicking the floor in sheer frustration but to a chorus of groans from some fans , he wants to do as well as anybody , and is probably more frutrated than anyone else in the ground when it doesnt come off.

Sometimes he gets marked out of games and sometimes he gets some joy but overall id rather have him in the team than out of it, the ability to do something creative is lacking in our attacking play so im glad we have a player like Pablo who dispite getting pelters still has the balls to get on the ball and try and create .

7 assists and 3 goals isnt bad at all folks :)

I rate Pablo. Also interesting that despite the Spanish boys either sulking or not being up to Monk's standards in training (thus no Michu, Canas, Poz etc) Pablo is still regularly selected.
He obviously says the right things, trains hard and seems like he wants to stay. Now he's the most creative player per minute in the Prem.

    I freakin' love Pabs!

Agree with Norway. As much as I'd like to think the Mail has made up these figures they haven't. The criteria appears to be creativity based on minutes played. On that basis he's the best. Unequivocally.

I think he makes mistakes at times because he's trying to hard to win over the crowd.

Nice post Norway, can't disagree either, but regardless of the stats, I still do not see him as the most creative player in the Premiership, but he is an asset to the club though without doubt!...........<ok>

PS: Please try and be a little less long winded dear, much appreciated in anticipation!..............<laugh>

Pablo is quality and would be even better if more of our so-called knowledgeable supporters cut him some slack and cheered him more. He's a confidence player and would thrive on it. Whilst other players are content with the safe pass, Pablo is always looking to damage the opponent with the difficult option, so it stands to reason that often his pass doesn't get through.

He's also no shirker. However badly, or well, he's playing, he always looks to get on the ball and never hides. He'll do for me.

Dont know where you sit NJ but most people around me moan just as much with Shelveys inability to keep it simple and as far his wayward passes they moan the same as any frustrating player we have including Pablo, Chico et al

Some of us have been saying that about the lad for some time, I know Norway and I have defended him countless time from the doubters. I know there are others such as yourself too, but always nice to see him get some credit.
