For someones who's team has had a good night and finished what for you must be considered a very succesful season, you are a very angry person. For the rest of the Eagles, congratulations , for you i just feel pity that you must have some real issues, and i hope one day you will seek treatment and it is succesful. As for your location ( in a better place than you) i do not think anyone would like to be in the place you are!!!! You think you are smart, shouting your mouth off, does it make you feel big, sorry mate, but the only reaction you will get from people is Pity Most people if they thought the only reaction they got was one of pity, it would make them feel quite small, you obviously have some mental condition. Have you ever noticed you have problems interacting socially, do you hate a lot of things,do you tend to be angry most of the time.
Oh trying to be witty now?? "You seem to be getting along fine"... now that makes no sense, does it imply you think i am a ******,or i have been cured Either way as far as wit goes it was quite a poor effort, but then again the art of this and repartee require a certain amount of intelligence The art of cursing and swearing and generally being abusive is normally the action of the less intelligent Word of advice.......stick to what your best at
Had a terrible dream that we bottled a 3 goal lead to Crystal Palace in the last 15 minutes of the game
I had some seriously weird dreams last night. All liverpool related. ****ing hell how did we blow that
My guess is that the manager left the slowest man on the pitch as the last defender against the quickest Chelsea player. http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/240900-sunderland-are-****
Wow, bitter much? what's that thread that I didn't start go to do with my comment? Completely irrelevant
Not bitter at all, why would I be? However the cowards on here decided that, having run the Sunderland are ****' thread for months they should now hide it now that the laugh's on them. Nothing to do with your comment, my apologies for piggy-backing it on here.
Bitter: "feeling or showing anger, hurt, or resentment because of bad experiences or a sense of unjust treatment." backed up by the fact you carry that thread link around with you wherever you post, as if it's a badge of honour that you scraped survival
You hate a whole group of people based on where they are born. Wow! You're a classy person. Who's the BNP representative in your district?
Really, despite the result- and us being on the wrong end of an Istanbul comeback- it was a pretty darn good game that had me on the edge of my seat. I thought Palace did brilliantly in their defending with the bus parked to start- but then their comeback was fantastic- the fans were brilliant and raucous even when staring at an inevitable defeat. For 70+ minutes we were fantastic too- completely in control before our collapse. Perhaps we had a couple of marginal calls where some refs would have given soft penalties- but overall Clattenburg had a good game too- I like how he let play continue before punishing- rather than constantly stopping the game... he did seem to have it out for Skrtel mind. It was a good, but devastating for us, game. Shame about the result- and it wiping out our title hopes... but truth be told- can't deny- it was thrilling.
i think personally its all our own fault. i thought palace fans offered up a good atmosphere. he cheer leaders, tannoy announce and eagle at half time was cringeworthy but the lads in the stands did their club well.
So my ratings (been on nights and just got up). Migs: 7 Couple of good saves and less shaky in his box. The collapse was not his fault. Johnson: 5 Sound first half, even defensively. Dreadful in the last twenty minutes, he looked shot and even slower than normal. Even looks a few kilo heavier nowadays. Sad end to a good career. Flanagan; 5 Offered nothing going forward and looked lost during the final onslaught, but tbf it came down the centre and the right. Sakho 5: Seemed to win all his set-pieces, but caught too square on the ground in the last 15 minutes. Skrtel 5: Overwhelmed in the second half. Not the leader we need, though I'd keep him to play with a Carragher-type centre-back. Lucas: 4 Not scapegoating, but what does he offer? Cover for Gerrard? No he doesn't. Support for the forwards? no. Disappeared completely in those last twelve minutes. Gerrard:5 Too busy trying to urge us forward to bring down the goal-difference to notice that we were desperately running out of steam and were vulnerable. Allen: 7 Better every game. Sorry I doubted him. Pack Lucas's bags for him and wave him goodbye, Joe. Sterling: 5 Not one of his best, but couldn't fault his effort. Sturridge: 6 Anonymous first half, came out like a hurricane in the second - and blew himself out after 65 minutes of trying to walk the ball into the net. Not 100% fit. Suarez: 6 Obviously not fit and tried too hard to make everything happen. Should have taken him off after Palace's first goal, but that's hindsight. Subs: Coutinho: 5 Couple of shots, one pass, but he was brought on to pump up the score, not deal with a fifteen minute onslaught. Moses: 3 **** off. Overall; 5 Fell to bits after their first goal. Istanbul in reverse, or even the QPR game a couple of seasons back under Kenny, if anyone remembers that. Just give them the week off now Brendan, or even take them to a spa for a day or too. Relax, play good football on the final day and don't worry about impossible dreams of goal difference. Either Villa or West ham have to win now for us to win the league, and the odds on that are stratospheric, but less than us trying to overhaul @ 12-15 goals in two games would have been. Win our last game with style and grace and I'll be happy, though I'm not assuming we will after seeing how mentally and emotionally shattered they looked at the end of the last two games.
Individually, I don't think any of our players did that bad (well, OK... Moses WAS rank). We dominated most of the game- and were the better team for most of it. To be fair, Palace just had a brilliant 10 minutes and it was tactics rather than individuals that let us down. I compare the game to Istanbul. At Istanbul, Milan were the better team for 80+ minutes- but allowed us to score 3 goals. Credit to us we deserved those 3 goals (as Palace did against us last night)- but Milan were overall the better team (as we were last night- but knee jerk wants us to say otherwise). I don't think giving our players an average rank of 5 or so is fair. They were better than that. We had 6 crazy minutes in 2005. Palace had 10 crazy minutes in 2014. Fantastic effort by Palace- and for 10 minutes they made us look stupid on the field. Our team worked hard before that though and put in some really good football against a team that were doing very well defending and countering. If one of Palace's shot went wide instead of in- I don't think anyone would be as damning of the team this morning as they have been... questions would be asked "how could we almost slip up" - but our team would have been hailed nonetheless by the fans. We lost two points against a smaller budget team with a lot of spunk but we were an 8/10 last night.
You don't get 8/10 for conceding 3 goals in the last 15 minutes. I wouldn't have even given them 8/10 had they won 3-0. 7, maybe, not 8; but they didn't win 3-0, did they?
