Its being reported that were looking into the possibility of signing VerHoek from the dutch side Den Hagg and Maynard from Bristol City. I don't know much about Verhoek but he seems highly regarded in Holland. Maynard would also be an excellent signing for us, brining some much needed firepower up front for us. Thoughts?
yes i would like to see him in a forest shirt I'm sure he would do well for us, whether or not it happens remains to be seen!. I feel we got to keep Earnshaw we just aren't good enough up front without him. Could be an excellent partnership with Blackstock when he returns from injury. Need a good clear out up front.
I would love to see Earnie stay (even after a fairly average season at best) but I think the gap between what he wants to be paid and what the club is willing to pay is just to far
I'd love to see Earnie stay, fair enough he didnt bang them in last season but as stated above, him and Dexter are a good strike force, as much as it pains me to say this but Warnock had a good point after the Swansea game that Earnie would be a fantastic impact player, if we were 1 - 1 needing a win or a goal down, bring him on and he gives you a serious threat, would he be happy doing that though? Don't really know anything of Maynard but we still have quite a few strikers on the books. As for Calderwood, well, shame 606 isn't about anymore, i bet old Bobby Larson has a few words on that lol
cardiff cant afford ernie so he wont be going there, i hope he stays with forest and helps you to get promotion this season, forest usually do what swansea has done so if we can do enough to stay in the premiership (which im very confident of doing) then we at swansea hope forest can join us there....
Has anyone heard anything about Dexter? Last I heard he was gently exercising but not back at training. I really hope this injury has not ended his career, one of the best strikers I have seen in the championship in a long time
