I know that I've said I'm not convinced about Sturridge yet, but with the latest bit of news.. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/gossip_and_transfers/9519260.stm He can prove he is worthy at Premier League level and he can see if he is wanted at Chelski and then can come to us when Falcao, Neymar and Torres are in front of him in the pecking order Him, Erdinc and Ba would be a Europa League qualifying strikeforce i do believe
I would too but not for more than 12, maybe 14 million. Not 20m. The best deal would be a loan with an option to buy at the end.
I agree. £15-20 million is a lot, but as an all-round striker, he's already pushing Bent in my opinion, and could easily be worth £30+ million by next season
are you forgetting we could arranged a buy out clause so its set at 12m at the end of the season if we wnat to buy him
Could we not get him on a loan with a view to buy at a pre agreed price? as mentioned in the 12m price bracket? Edit: French Connection beat me to it
Yeah, COULD. I'm just going off the information we have though, which is that it would be a season-long loan. No one has mentioned a loan with the option to buy type deal (yet).
i always Kept an eye on both Sturridge and Tom Cleverly over the last probably 18 months, would love to see either or both at Newcastle.
