Could I suggest another category for BRS....

Most useless home grown striker called Shola who continues to be the laziest bastard on the pitch.

No problem. Who would nominate for such an award?

I'm going to say Mike Williamson - he is making the absolute most of limited natural ability and he deserves recognition for it.

Bollocks to Cabaye, he's a PSG player now. Bollocks to Remy, he's a QPR player who will simply follow his nose to the biggest pay day.

I'd choose Tiote because he played exceptionally well for half a season, and though his form dropped off considerably after Cabaye left, he's given considerable effort every game. Plays with passion and hunger always, even if the quality isn't present a significant proportion of the time. I like a trier.

Remy and in brief spells Debuchy are the only other chaps who won't count this season as a sizable skidmark on the underpants of their career. There's sweetcorn and the remnants of a Barry Manilow greatest hits CD in those skidmarks as well... Yuck...

I would vote for no nominees. No-one deserved it in my view.

Norwich fans have all voted for the reserve keeper Carlo Nash who has not played all season to highlight their thoughts on the players this season.

I'm pretty sure I read that Pardew wanted a new contract for Perch but Kinnear sold him instead. Mark Douglas has suggested the sale was forced because it was felt that Pardew was under utilizing Anita. This is probably a fabrication but I wouldn't be surprised if the sale was Kinnears fault - Pardew seemed to value Perch as the decent squad player he was.

Took him a while to settle in but he became as reliable as anybody after he did settle.

Perch's sale was undoubtedly not down to Pardew. He made it clear he wanted to extend his contract. It was JFK and Ashley who weren't keen. He'd have been useful in that bad run with his commitment.

Wouldn't surprise me, didn't Gutierrez say he felt that his lack of selection this season and departure was nothing to do with Pardew. Wouldn't be surprised if some above Pardew has directed him not to play Ben Arfa.
