I've never been his biggest fan, I think people claiming he was better than Henderson got under my skin. However this season he has improved again. Still no Henderson mind BUT!!! He gives 100% he makes very important tackles, he is a willing runner and reads the game well. Needs to bring more to his game in the final third but he is a very respectable footballer. I will be sad to see him go. It is no surprise the team returning to form coincided with his return to the team. Maybe he needed arest. Played a lot of games.
with a copper coloured top tony he didnt need a rest he just keeps going ,what he needed was a pay rise about a year ago, great team asset
The kind of wholehearted player all teams need, add that he is one from the AoL strengthens our need to sign him.
His form and honesty makes him a must-sign player for me!!!Hope that the rumours are wrong about him signing for the mags are well wrong.Premiership survival will hopefully see us keep Jack on board.
Wow. If we have fcked up on the offer he has been given, i hope the club can rectify this with him and all the heads that needed to roll have been axed.
Why the **** would he want to sign for them? Hardly an upward move? And before anyone mentions they're higher up in the league, I'm talking about us under GP. They're in crisis. We're more settled each day.
We need him signed,i think poyet will sit down and have a talk with him. Colback is a team player, and to replace him with a player of his calibre will cost us 4-5 million.
Hopefully he's just waiting to see if we stay up before signing a new contract. I imagine Gus would certainly want to keep him and they've listened to him before. Jack's become a very effective player and I can see a fair bit of potential still left in him, we should keep him at all costs.
He'd want to sign for them because they're his boyhood team. There was always a chance it could happen. Just hope he looks at the state they're in and realise staying here would be the better choice. But then he could go to Everton who we can't really compete with.
