the spurs game knocked the stuffing out of alot of fans and rightly so, i stayed in the pub for the everton game and i'm not ashamed to admit it, still kept the faith though (just) but it was gone for a while
Nothing wrong with that Whitburn, I and the majority were the same. It doesn't make him any more of a supporter Smug, why do you keep pissing on our parade after every big win we get?
It's a shame that you feel the need to make divisive comments after such a magnificent performance and 10 points from the last 12
How's it divisive you ****wit? My comments are only directed at anyone happy that we were going down. If that includes you then ........**** right off. If it doesn't then I really can't see your problem .......... what is your problem? Surely you should be joining me in condemning anyone who was happy when they thought we were going down.
I was convinced we were down, not going to lie. After West Ham and Tottenham, could you blame me?? And if any one said they think we would beat Chelsea away, Man Utd away, Citeh, and Cardiff... they would have been lying. We had a very tough run in, but as i eat this humble pie, the lads have proven me wrong. And im very happy to be proven wrong!
If people actually read what I've said they'd see I'm only condemning people who were happy when they thought we were going down. To them I repeat '**** you' ........ every ****ing last one of you!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought we were down after the West Ham game How we've managed to pull this form out of nowhere is ****ing amazing All credit to Gus and the players
I haven't got a problem but it seems that you have, you can't hold a conversation without using abusive and threatening language, if you know what divisive means then why do you need to ask such a puerile question. That barrack room language that you never use is tedious and your insults say more about you than the person you are having a dig at. Later Walter
Yes I can, I have loads of decent conversations with loads of decent people. The only problem, I ever have, is with arrogant condescending bellends who pretend to miss the point. If you're an arrogant condescending bellend then **** off ......... if not then, what's your problem? BTW, you mean 'I don't have a problem' ........ not, 'I haven't got a problem.'
Tbh, i was trying to look for the positives in going down... the clear out, the crap off our books, more games, hopefully more wins... But i was never happy we were going down. The EPL is where Sunderland belong. Just been a tough season, so many highs, so many dark lows. But if Chelski can do us a solid and beat Norwich, we have 2 home games to get a single point from to stay up. Looking so much better than a month ago. But you couldnt wipe the smile off my face the last few weeks!
Smug, I remember me and you with our 'reasons to be positive' thread on New Year's Day. Even after West Ham, Spurs, Everton recently we never gave up. Who'd have thought we'd be all but safe BEFORE home games v WBA and Swans?!! Believe in Gustavo.
The realist in me had us down and buried (no one could see anything else). The optimist had me clinging to what would be a miracle (years of being a Sunderland fan) and the pessimist in me still won't believe until it's a certainty. WOULD YOU HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY! HaWAyTheLads.
There was always Cardiff,Swansea and WBA at home to play although our home form was not good I felt with those three games we had a chance to stay up.i never gave up but mant times I was low and despondent.
