Yeah, but I'm not surrounded by fans of any of the other play off sides mate. I'm quite relaxed about it now (mind you, I won't be come next Friday night).
I saw your post and just automatically assumed it was meant for me, I didn't realise you were the negative nancy!
I think it's time for us all to concentrate on the play offs and get behind the team. All recriminations/arguments can wait till after that imo.
Let's hope Steve McClaren doesn't encounter this on his arrival at the Amex:- "Hi All, 1)...when Crystal Palace players and staff arrived to the Amex and went into their dressing room, they found themselves in a very uncomfortable situation, for some reason that still no clear to me , someone during the day had access to the away dressing room and done something terrible, trying to upset everyone related to Palace. To say it in clear English, someone had a âpooâ all outside the toilets, over and around the toilets. Now, after careful consideration, and even after a meeting with the Chairman who assured me that MY REPUTATION IS INTACT, I feel that I must express my anger that anyone inside this organisation thought they could interfere with it. I am angry that someone within this club could endanger our good reputation and stoop so low - did they imagine that this would affect the Crystal Palace players - well it possible did - it may just have fired them up even more. Well someone made a very bad decision and I think it is time to stand up and take responsibility - not just the culprit but those employees who are supposed to make our stadium safe and secure. Surely changing rooms are high up on securities check lists??? Surely someone should lose their job to allow such a breach of security - they do not deserve to be part of this club!... 2)...would someone like to admit it was their idea to hand out stupid pieces of noise-making paper - can I tell you it was an extremely silly idea and the result was an annoying noise - I am not for one minute blaming the result of the game on this, but it added only negative vibes to the proceedings along with the rubbish filled balloons that littered the pitch. My team of players and staff have worked hard this season and I do not appreciate negative actions from others within the club...whoever you are, you let the club down very badly." Gus Pooyet
I'll give you one - my steak and ale pie was perfect. Good day out - the youngsters all showed real promise and if Yun does not start in the play offs, Redknapp should have his knackers chopped off
He wasn't joking about someone who could "stoop so low" to crap outside, over and around the toilets...
Yuns goal was superb. Goal of the season contender and completely unexpected. A good day out all round. Col Donaldson's complete family sat behind us. I thought the lad started shakily but grew in confidence and at the end was playing well. Hes a tall lad, Crouchie mkII. Sadly i missed the first 2 goals as nipped down to get my lad a pie before the half time rush......
It was. I can't recall any other occasion this season when a full back of ours went for it instead of taking a step back and passing sideways when he reached the imaginary wall ten yards short of the opposition penalty area. You know the one which some bright spark told them to cross under pain of death. Once he'd beaten his man and unlocked the route to goal there was only one place the ball was going. He could be our secret weapon in the play off games. Petrasso's cameo shows that he could be a real talent and crowd pleaser and Donaldson put in a competent first effort - in his case there is a bit to work on in terms of awareness and positioning but if he continues to develop he will prove to be a useful acquisition.
Thanks both. Would you start Yun on Friday night from what you saw today, or go for a more experienced man?
