Uzi?? That comment had all the venom of a popgun. No, perhaps peashooter is closer to the mark. Uzi? Don't make me laugh! When I sink anywhere near the depths you have managed to plumb as a poster, I'll do the decent thing and pack it in.

I'm choosy about where I spend my time and having to share it with the likes of you makes me wonder if this board is worthwhile. Anyway, child, go back to the kindergarten you escaped from and let the rest of us continue to debate like adults.

Uzi is the classic keyboard warrior, ivor, and I have had occasion to put him in his place.

The clue is in his name.

Anyone needing to incorporate the word Uzi into it clearly has problems, too many, and too complex to deal with here.

I suspect he spends too much time under his duvet, with his plastic Uzi to keep him company,of course. <laugh>

No myth valley , just a part of a few shots at Laudrup leading to his sacking . This article reeks of " Get across the champions league finish line Wenger and put financial pressure on Swansea and come and get me . Also , in an article the other day , Bony talks about the frustrating start and finally seeing the light why he was brought along slowly , which is a clear thankyou to Laudrup . When we couldnt get that other cheaper striker you bang on about valley , Huw was FORCED to go bigger by Laudrup , Jenkins never got over that imo

Roof, Laudrup didn't want Bony, he wanted Aspas. It was the board who pursued Bony.

Plenty of articles on the net roof, but I'll post a few tomorrow if you want. Can't do it now as I'm on the iPad.

Appreciate that You want someone who complains about bringing someone in , to be the one who brought him in ... common sense dictates otherwise . You might find something that says Laudrup wanted to bring Aspas , but Ill be anxious to see proof where he didnt bring in Bony ....goodluck

without jinx and the board's say so and approval no manager can bring anyone in so by that definition alone the bony deal went through...but like jinx have made perfectly clear he dont like spending large amounts of money on a single player as its far to risky for a club like us and bony is a one off...

Roofjack - you can't ask for proof one way and not provide proof for the other. I'm interested to see the proof that the board brought Bony here, but I'm equally interested to see the proof that Laudrup brought Bony here. Can you back up your claim?

At the end of the day, it's a moot point. He's here now. If he goes, he isn't here next season. They're the facts. In maths exams, it doesn't matter how you work your way to the answer, if you get the answer, you get full marks. Either way, it's top marks from me for getting Bony. I don't care who did it.

Incidentally, for my two cents worth on the argument, I can remember that during Laudrup's press conference after being sacked he was directly asked, "Did you want Wilfried Bony?" His answer was "I don’t want to sit here and talk about players. I still consider them my players." That's as clear a question dodge as I've ever seen, and on a matter that he wasn't restricted to talk about. Not proof, but a pretty clear sign that it wasn't Laudrup who signed him.

The Club signed Bony, and my,aren't we glad they did.
No-one knows for sure the mechanics of how Bony came to play for The Swans'.
I was stunned that we signed him, and expressed shock that we had spent £12 million pounds.I couldn't believe it.
That sum looks like a real bargain now.
So well done to whoever made the decision and followed it through.
We could have had a Wolfswinkel,or even that guy who signed for Cardiff, whose name escapes me. <laugh>
It was Cornelius.

Nobody really knows who brought in Bony kidders except those personally involved , but common sense weighs heavy on my side . Think about it , why would Huw bring in a 12 million £ player and proceed to complain about having to bring in a 12 million £ player , not rocket surgery kidders

You take a cheap shot at the chairman then cry like a baby when someone does something similar to you. How hypocritical and juvenile.

Other people have to share it with people like you continuously whinging and insulting the board or manager.

You seem to think calling Jenkins a Championship manager constitutes adult debate. Looks like you need help as well.

The difference is, you child, I was expressing an opinion about football, about our club, about people associated with our club. It is merely my opinion and, when I posted it, I expected that other people would likely disagree with it and post their thoughts on the matter, which is their prerogative. This is called DEBATE, the raison d'etre of any forum - point and counter point. Get it?

You, on the other hand, resorted to personal insult and name calling because you disagreed with my comment. Are you not capable of presenting your own argument against something you disagree with? Is making derogatory remarks your only answer? It would appear so. The typical and immature response of someone you would expect to find in a school playground. You should go away, grow up and only consider returning when you think you are capable of behaving and posting like an adult.

"Posters" like you are ten a penny; as Vetch commented, "a classic keyboard warrior". There are many posters on here that I have great respect for: no matter that we might disagree because they post their views and give their reasons without any juvenile behaviour involved. It can be educational, interesting and is usually entertaining.

You should try it.
