Local media are reporting that Swansea City will not allow your fans to wear face masks outside and inside the ground due to safety and security reasons.

If it was on the radio, someone would've either A) tweeted it or B) posted it on Facebook.

That's the world we live in. I had a search on both and not a word on it.

"Hey guys believe me about this thing... oh no wait, I can't give you evidence but I expect you to believe it anyway!"

Can't imagine why, so don't believe it. Security would only apply at point of entry.

Would be funny to have Rickie identified as a hooligan using facial recognition technology. His alibi would be that he'd been in a 1000 other places at the same time.

We should be dubious of any news brought to us by a poster with the word "Swannie" in their name, I feel;)

Saw some posts on Swansea Forums this morning c/o "security issues" if we wore the masks. They said at one point they were worried for their children's safety!

Thought is must be a ironic response but hey some of them seem to think we're re-invading Wales with a view to pillage etc.

Is this what happens when the curse of mid-table security descends? Too much time to dream up imagined threats.

I tell you, there should be some hilarious photos of the crowd coming out of that game. Can't wait to see them.

I lived in Swansea for 3 years...trust me...there's nothing worth pillaging!

Only kidding, I love Swansea and they were definitely the best 3 years of my life so far, I wish I was down there this weekend to relive my youth on Wind Street. Although I understand that Barons nightclub is no longer with us....RIP.

<laugh> Barons is now a swish looking block of flats, Downthe36. Some happy memories for me too.

Safe travels to fans on the move today. With your injury list and it being our last home game I'm expecting something today in a fixture I'd normally expect us to lose. If we do lose I expect the anti-Monk feeling to grow in these parts. I think the Board may well give him the job but not everyone's convinced yet. Me included. <ok>
