http://www.theguardian.com/media/2014/may/01/jeremy-clarkson-begs-forgiveness-n-word-top-gear I'd let it go but i cant ****ing stand him. So uff uff uff licence payer etc. Sack him
He along with the others are racist ****s, sack them all. I do like this though.
Britain provides refuge to black and brown people from cross the world. Here they have access to education and medicine and are protected from practices such as female genital mutilation and suttee. If they spent 1/10th of the time showing some gratitude for that as they do moaning about nasty words and racism, we'd go a long way. Each year 2.2m Africans die of AIDS, and 170,000 more are murdered. Is this even worthy of comment?
That word in particular is a load of bullshit. It's alright for certain people to use it towards other people of the same ethnicity but absolutely wrong for any other ethnicity to say it. Bollocks. It bares no weight. In this case, far from the 'abhorrent act of racism' the article alludes to, I perceive it as Jeremy Clarkson just being a bellend like normal. As much as I enjoy the blokes material, you've got to wonder what goes through his head sometimes. Why the **** would you say that on camera? There's absolutely nothing productive to take from it, quite the opposite as you know the outrage it will cause amongst the PC brigade if it gets leaked (like it has). Even the strikers gag where he said they should be lined up and shot at least made me spit my tea out and have a good chuckle, incidents like this most recent one there's nothing for it but to just shake your head and wonder why...
They do realise that Clarkson and the other lads thrive on this kind of stuff? I doubt he said it on live camera, he sort of mumbles sometimes so I guess it could sound like it, but he probably said something else. There was an episode of Peppa Pig (which apparenlty is massive and my younger cousin is obsessed with), where apparently they said the word ****ing; there's a youtube clip of it somewhere, but they actually said 'rocking'. It does sound similar though. So much so, that a young child in London started repeatedly saying the word over and over again. Her mother said she couldn't have heard the word anywhere else and the producers should be ashamed of themselves. Or, at least that's the story I'd have gone with if my 3 year old started saying the F-word.
Just like when John Lennon says '****ing Hell' in the official recording of Hey Jude? You can hear it just as the tune reaches its crescendo halfway through. But you only know it's there if you specifically listen for it I am absolutely sick of this overly sensitive, overly PC world we now have in the 21st century. Society has lost all track of what is genuinely racist, sexist or whatever-ist. For the record I cannot stand racism or sexism in its true forms, (I shouldn't need to say that but will in light of what I'm about to say). Just simply saying the word ****** or paki is NOT racist. The insinuation, connotation or when said with specific insult implied can be deemed derogatory but even then, offence still has to be taken. Why is Paki (short for Pakistani) racist when Brit (short for Briton) is not? The answer is simply because we are told Paki is and Brit isn't and the sheep that seem to be the majority of the population just think what they are told to think. It's not the words, it is the thought and intentions behind them. Which I really don't think Clarkson is guilty of whatsoever. Personally I think there is a witch-hunt on for Clarkson and Top Gear in the Looney-Left media. It's such a massively successful program that the media want to drag it down. A bit like they've tried to drag the England team down over the last couple of decades.
Think he's just one of those people who pushes things as far as he can to see what reaction he gets, or what he can get away with. You know, an annoying "look at me, I'm controversial" ****. Of course, this is dangerous, and when he goes too far and acts like a total **** (like now) he can't be shocked when people get pissed off. It's not like it's the first time. I think he's a talentless dinosaur myself (remember that chat show he had about 10 years back? The genuine highlight of that show for his fans was when he put an item into a microwave for too long). He obviously knew what he was doing, as always. And it's obviously dodgy ground, as always. He needs to suck it up and face his punishment.
