What people forget about pardew is we stayed up last season by the skin of our teeth on the final day of the season do that's a season and a half he has massively failed

 

If I were Ashley I'd sack Pards, then put my entire wealth on Barton to become next manager, then hire him probably still wouldn't get any funds though...

 

Article in the Telegraph last week brings it up, but, at the time of both Pardew and Keegan appointments Moyes was mentioned, but then again so was anyone else who could be described as a football manager, just like now.

You're right, certain things going on, seem to be by design leading to APs departure.

 

I went on Oddschecker to see if there was anything else to get excited about and found the weirdest thing - there was a tab on the main "Next Newcastle Manager" odds entitled "Zinedine Zidane to replace Alan Pardew".

Just found it to be a really strange thing to have, given something more expected would be "Moyes to replace Pardew" odds, for example....

Go on, stick a tenner on it!!!

 

I've always liked Hoddle, albeit I think It's mainly because of euro96. His competence as a manager wasn't questioned, he just got hung out to dry over a silly comment.

 

I'm starting to come round to that way of thinking.
Pards seems to be going out of his way to put positive spin on himself.. Almost like he is selling himself to Ashley.

 

Both of them like a good head but too.
