Rumours emerging from across the county line suggest that one of the best pieces of work of recent years, in Lambourn, has just been done by a filly in Chas Hills’ barn. And it ain’t Kiyoshi. The once raced CAMBRIDGE, not a lovely name for a filly, has left workwatchers Astounding with a capital ‘A’. Her price for the Oaks is rapidly retracting.
Dream walker has a cracking chance in the next at red but surely jonny c at 6s weighted nice and loves the distance should go better
Been in the At Fishers Cross camp for too long to back out now. Double with Champagne Fever Treble with Kautos half brother in the bumper
2nd at 7s should be place betting lately , but I had a feeling it wasnt far enough for dream walker so at least I was right in one respect
I always think it's interesting to see the career path of horses you remember from a while ago. Take Duke Of Lucca - runs in the Cross Country at Punchestown shortly over 4m1f but I remember a few years ago him finishing a staying-on 2nd to Peddlers Cross in the big novice hurdle at Aintree.
He can't, but still managed a place. Second leg of a stupid ew trixie coming up .... Fingal Bay (I know ... I said it was stupid) with Moscow Mannon in the 6-40, already got one in with Mallowney - aftertiming I know - sue me
Best of luck with it reebs - I love Fingal Bay, smashing horse and I'd love to see him go chasing again next season. This fav at Ffos Las is very short - must be the Sam T-D factor? Fancy Bonobo to do him
The course commentator referred to a fence being named after "the late Ruby Walsh" ............. presumably a different Ruby to the Irish genius?
Small side story to the World Hurdle shortly - be interesting to see how Reve de Sivola goes for Barry Gerraghty
Boil over. Top ride by Davy Russell yet again - seems that losing the Gigginstown job has given him a new lease of life. Not Ruby's finest hour on Quevega - tracking RdS on the inside and got a little boxed in, she got going too late.
