With Andros Townsend now ruled out of England World Cup team, could this open up a spot for routs or dyer?

If you looked at form, they should surely be worth consideration

Was thinking the same thing when I heard the news. Routledge at least deseves a call but Hodgson is big club-centric. He's only been forced into looking at Southamptom players because there would be outrage if he didn't.

Routs has no chance. The old fart will plump for Ince or Zaha first <grr>

Not a cat in hell's chance of a Swans player getting in the squad. As Valley has said Hodgson will go for Ince or Zaha.

Routledge has been unbelievable at times this season, and should have been on the plane before townsend anyway.
With Walcot out, he really should be on the plane. Don't think he will though.

Routledge should absolutely be considered. I May be a bit biassed but I think he's been the most consistent English winger this season.

Routledge would be an easy choice if I was picking the team .

Maybe Shelvey before both of those.
