I would die without my mobile with no charge after a few hours id be having to leave the queue and charging it up in my car, id just end up losing my place lol
How did humankind ever survive before the invention of mobiles although I'm pretty sure you won't die
I tried to upload a photo of the flyer for you but it won't work. Any size pizza collected, £5.99 from the Holderness Road or Beverley Road stores, ends Sunday 4th May. Includes any pizza on the menu or a create your own with up to 4 toppings. (Otherwise £9.99 if delivered).
I'm not backtracking. I had Dominos for lunch, hence knowing about the offer. How can a person moan about somebody queuing getting free pizza when they didn't queue themselves. I'm not a hypocrite.
Just had a thunderstorm and torrential rain in my part of Leeds in the last hours was heading Eastwards as well. Hope it avoids Hull. Good luck to all those queuing tonight and stay safe. You deserve a slice of pizza and good on the club for doing it.
Any computer boffins know why we couldn't have hired some ticket system from an agent or another club? Surely it's just a case of adjusting our database to match theirs and deciding a point system?
Almost round to where N stand turnstiles start now. Bit spread out in parts but decent vibe in parts. Strongbow, carling, wine, jamaican woodbines rubbing shoulders with flasks.
From one extreme to the other - we would have been grateful if we could have bought food at the stadium on Sunday
I think that overall the club has handled the ticketing well. Lets all face the fact that someone has put themselves out for the supporters who are queuing. I know that this may sound odd coming from someone who did not have to queue to get his ticket, but I actually feel quite proud of all of those who are in the queue now and who have already stood and waited. I hope the bad weather holds off, it would be a real shame to know that fellow City fans could be cold and wet, just to get a ticket.
My phone is saying 30% chance of rain at 3am-5am. Other than that, it's just saying cloud until tomorrow.
Greedy get, we were there at 5.20 and there were only a hundred in front of us, only a dozen or so camped out overnight, there must be nearly a thousand there by now 10 hours before the office opens
As the night goes on there are reports of an (inevitable) upsurge in sexual aggression in certain parts of the queue. Hearing disconcerting tattle of ‘flask abuse’ and quote: ‘tartan rugs starting to look more and more like skirts’
It's good that the fans can get something to eat. It does at least show they are listening and learning. I declined the pizza- I would have choked on it.
