F A Cup moment since supporting city - this season excluded. My first Boothferry park visit was v Chelsea 1982 in an FA cup replay , we lost 2-0 but was hooked from then. Bradford away (W 2-1 ) prior to the Liverpool cup tie in 1988 also stood out.

I got chucked out of that Chelsea game after Clive "****y"Walker scored his second.

Season before at Spurs was a good trip out. Edwards should of put us up before they scored.

A last minute winner v BWFC in 1985.

Cue pitch invasion madness from North Stand

    Dozens of other memories

-beating Donny in 81 when we were pants and played off the park
-beating WHU in 73 in front of 32,000 at BP.
-losing at BHA in 85 in the snow when almost every other game in the country was iced off, getting coach window bricked in.
    - being at BP v Stoke in 71 with over 40,000 people in it

Stoke away 5th round 1972. Some Stoke fan nicked my scarf even after beating us 4-1 so I wasn't too happy.

    Went to that.

John Kaye broke his leg (or rather some Stoke **** broke it for him) and you could hear the crack.

Bit like that kid at Scunny with Mike Edwards.

To be honest I can't remember anything about the game, other than vague bit of hope when we scored. But I'd missed the quarter final the previous year though remember listening on radio 2.

If you're on about the Bratfud cup match, Whitehurst scored that piledriver after about 50 seconds.

65/66 was my first regular season. I was at both the Forest & Chelsea games too, followed up with our last outright title win.
    England did okay that summer!
I was only nine and football just seemed we won all the time...
    No wonder I was hooked.
First away game was FA Cup win at Norwich I think 72/ 73.
Great win but a tad scary at times on the terraces

My best (Mally’s) memories have pretty much been covered by others – only been going since the ‘80s.

Other things that stand out, that goal by Payton v BHA (88 ish), memory may fail me but he seemed to take on about six players before scoring.

Never seen footage of this goal.

Not City related, but for some reason, this thread reminded me of this so I Googled it

First time I’ve seen this since seeing the Saturday night news on the day it happened.

The Everton game was my first really big cuptie - fantastic atmosphere against Everton when they were the league champions and had some really legendary players (Alex Young, Roy Vernon, Brian Labone, Gordon West and Bronco" Layne).
I'd add the away game at Chelsea to that list as it was by far the most memorable cup game I saw until the Wembley semi.
