To be honest, I feel quite sorry for some people in Phase 4. There will be some who would've clocked 8-10 home games a season, as they may live in another city or work alternate weekends, therefore a season ticket doesn't make financial sense. They may have done this for years. There are a significant amount of Phase 3 people who went for a day out to Wembley but never been active in their support before. I'm not sure the club could do much better but as they track all purchased tickets for home games, I think Phase 3 should've been for those who've been to more than 15 games over the past 2 years (arbitrary figure but someone has to pick one). Regardless, doesn't matter what I think... just that I have some sympathy for a few Phase 4ers.
Agreed. It's difficult to please everyone and I don't think the ticketing arrangements are terrible, but I would have liked to see ticket allocations based on multi attendances, rather than the attendance if a single game.
1. The ticket office phone number. 2. The name of the person who got the ticket, probably with the number/seat etc. of the season pass used. 3. The semi-final ticket potentially for seat details? Might not be needed for phone-in.
How was the system cheated? I guess you could just keep turning up as it wasn't very organised. Did lots of people get numerous tickets?
I've been to 15 plus games this year (and last), plus the semi final (- but on a corporate - as I thought we'd sell out) so I'm praying a few go on general sale on Tuesday. At the same time, I'm calling in favours for Club Wembley tickets or may part exchange the girlfriend for 2 tickets!
I don't understand how anybody can complain , we didn't even sell out the semi-final , everybody had a chance to get a ticket for that and so give themselves a chance for a final ticket
Any idea if there will be tickets for all price ranges available for phase 3 or have all the pricey/cheap ones gone?
My only beef is they have given no leeway to people who do not live in the vicinity of Hull let alone those who live abroad.Of course you can try to ring the following day be we all know the score regarding that and they have not replied to my numerous emails regarding this. The dutch people i am sorting tickets for not only went to the semi but the Arsenal home game and Fulham away and they are expected to queue, madness.
Everybody who knew that this would give them some kind of priority (ie. no-one!). I'm not arguing the toss anyway. I've only been to two city games this season (both the aways within walking distance) and would have gone to the semi had I been in London at the time. Anybody who says they can't afford a season ticket because they can only make 8-10 games a season can probably fork out 400 notes for a club wembley ticket to a one-off occasion anyway. I do have somewhat of a gripe about semi-final attendees being given priorities over those that have attended say 8-10+ games this season but, que sera sera. I'm hoping people are as apathetic about going on tour next season as some on here make out, as I'd love to see City away in european competition. Thanks to OLM, I've already seen Shane Long score at Wembley in the last 12 months. I also have some sympathies with the club ticket office as well (lack of online applications aside). It's not like they're used to dealing with such huge volumes of applications (around 6-7,000 per home game less the away tickets - so more like 3-4,000) so won't have the systems in place to deal with it.
There was a piece in the HDM & several posts on here saying it may happen. However, what did people expect? http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Stay...FA-Cup-final/story-20947720-detail/story.html
I'm not sure its a matter of 'can't afford' - more, if you can make 10 games, getting a season ticket would be like throwing money down the drain.
They have - I am getting the train from London tomorrow night to be there for phase 3. Bit of a pain but after 40 years ... no brainer.
Sure, but Hull City don't get to an FA Cup final every year. The money saved on the difference between a season ticket and the match day prices paid could be put towards buying a more expensive ticket for the FA Cup final. Where the money saved is neglible (probably around the 10 game mark) the club could have rewarded those people by giving them second dibs after season ticket holders and ahead of "semi-final only" supporters. Either way, it's a moot point.
