So what about your glorious statement stating that Roberto's number 2 would be unveiled the new manager? <laugh>

Don't want to be rude but could you be more condescending? What makes your opinion better than anyone else's? Show some respect for others views even if you disagree with them innit? <ok>

    I agree 100% mate.

A long list of fook ups that they take no grief over which long term breeds complacency .

Signing Darnel Situ but getting papaer work wrong and not being able to play him for 6 months.
Getting the Edgar deal wrong as paper work was also not completed in time.
    A kit launch without kit.
    Free tickets for the DVLA.
Giving freebies to fans that only travel on official trips when most make their own way.
4th prem season with sign of stadium expansion.
Chairman slagging off the manager in the national press on the morning of the cardiff game.
Not knowing Ki's recall date when Sunderlands chairman did, thus making a total fool of Huw Jenkins in the media .

I could go on but hey they saved the club 10 yrs ago so are free of anykind of critisism even though some are earning top executive wages nowadays :)

I agree with this. The Board have been excellent mostly but there is an air of amateurishness (if that's a word) about them at times.

The Monk - Chico bust up before Monk was installed , then Monk ''s treatment of the " Spanish players " after he became manager shows how we left a professionally built organization behind and are using "schoolyard mentality " to run the club with Huws "personal "stamp of approval.

I seem to remember that the Club employed someone to concentrate on making sure contracts were sorted properly, and in accordance with all the rules involving international clearance, etc.?

Or perhaps I dreamt it. <laugh>

Rangel, Amat, Chico, Michu and Pablo are Spanish too aren't they?

The fact that Monk and Chico had a bust up and Monk picks Chico is evidence of his professionalism regarding the Spanish contingent roof.

At the end of the day, the only ones who haven't had a look in are Poz and Vasquez who isn't good enough for the championship let alone the PL.

You're forgetting Canas, valley but I'm guessing you put him in the same bracket.

Thought I'd mentioned Canas. He did play under Monk initially so something must have happened for him to be excluded. That said, with a full midfield to pick from, he is another who wouldn't get in my squad.

I thought Canas hobbled off the last time he played.

As an outsider to the Liberty shenanigans (as I am to most things in life really), I can't help but think that, as Monk has played Chico in every game he's been available for, he can't really be holding that much of a childish grudge. In fact, probably a bit blindly loyal as I would've dropped Chico long before - he's got to have directly cost us 8 points this season with his tomfoolery.

Michu has come on for a few games and gone away again - injury or not, Monk played him. If Michu's injury is him refusing to play, then I only see one person playing sillybuggers.

Canas got a chance but, in reality, the team missed Britton and it would then be Canas/JDG/Michu and really Canas comes third in that race.

That's just my logical side looking at it...

Not quite, Michu is our AM, which puts him in contention with the lieks of JDG and Pablo

Canas plays further back so his position is between himself, Britton, JDG and Shelvey.

Which again, he is not in the top 2 choices for me. But he is not in competition with Michu for a place.

Fair enough - I'm not sure what crack I was smoking when I wrote that. Bad stuff. Dark days indeed.

Michu has a weak ankle and he is having trouble getting it right. I dont think he will play that much next season with the way it is, He seems ok and he trains with everyone else and he and the club thinks its ok, but as soon as he gets a game and is competitive for real it goes again and that is an indication that you may not play again and of course he is very depressed with the situation, Once your ankle goes it difficult for some players to get the ankle strong again and michu is looking like one of those players. I hope we send him to a specialist in america where a lot of clubs send their players with injuries of this nature and they can do something for him.

100% factually wrong RE training. Michu has not trained with everyone else, he was in Spain last week and 5000 people witnessed him NOT training with everyone else last week.
