I'm really not a fan of each stand being a different size. I like some uniformity in my stadiums, and although some parts of it look nice I think it still looks like a second-choice job.
I really really like it. Granted I would rather have Ashton Vale but this is by no means a silver medal. We get to stay at our home and it is getting a top makeover. We can compete with the best with this stadium (by that I mean the likes of Norwich/Hull/Fulham/Stoke and not Arsenal Man U etc. The best this club can ever achieve is a premier league place. We can meet that standard. Hopefully we are in for some exciting years, and I hope Rovers can move up the leagues (so long as we do) and put Football in Bristol on the map!
I like it - it'll be excellent once finished. However, the numbered pics above look a lot like the instructions to put together a flat-pack wardrobe. I'll get me allen key.......
Rovers get the best stadium in south Gloucestershire we get the best stadium in Bristol.. everyone's happy
If the club has the foresight in the coming years too buy up those houses behind the atyeo then ashton gate would be very future proof for potential expansion
