    So if Liverpool beat Palace they are going to need to score a shed load in their final game to catch Man City on goal difference. Lucky for them that they are playing a very generous team on the final day.

    Liverpool might take their foot off the pedal and we might actually win.

    Damn it's hard to type with your fingers crossed.

    Back to the matter in hand and tomorrow's game. Wenger might just be a bit over confident and play a much weaker team than normal and we might actually get a point out of it. Miracles do happen.

    We have the chance to be party poopers here. Unfortnately our players are already on their hols. Look at Southampton, nowt to play for but putting in a shift to the bitter end. Our lot are an embarrassment. Taking the manager out of it, what excuse is left for this bunch of wasters?

    They don't like playing in stripes as it makes them look wider. They become more self-conscious and it impacts their confidence. Over time the impact escalates into a terrible downward spiral. They don't want to be on, or chase, the ball as everybody will see them more. Far better to hide at the other end of the pitch. Take beni for instance. An extremely gifted and very trim and fit player, who in a Toon shirt looks like a fat waster who cannot be bothered.

    It's very hard to motivate players in this mental stated. This is all what Pardew said anyway.
