If we do win the league then Kolo will be the first player ever to win the prem with 3 different clubs. Just shows you how brilliant the man is........?
I think he's actually been decent for us when called upon - he has made a few mistakes though, but I believe his real value comes with his experience in title races and influence in the dressing room. I said a few months ago that we added the likes of Sakho, Cissokho, Toure, Moses, Sturridge etc who have experience of winning titles.
I think Steve Peters has had more influence in the dressing room mentality than Toure...truthfully. He seems so panicky with the ball, I can't imagine his words bring about much confidence either.
Good shout. But in Toure's defence, majority of his mistakes came when he played as LCB which isn't his natural position. It might not seem like a massive change in position but it is. When he was playing alongside Agger (in the first 3 games), we actually looked very solid.
Let's be honest, those first 3 games if the season he was actually very good and vital in picking up 9 points from 9 with 3 1-0 wins. If we win the league (#nojinx) then he any every other player would have done something to play their part in it.
I agree with this. He's not a world beater but he's been all right. He's not made as many mistakes as others but the problem is the few mistakes he has made have been very costly.
He will be the only player to win the prem with 3 clubs. There are apparently 5 other players who have won it with two different clubs, unfortunately I had to get out of the car then so missed the rest of the programme on the radio so don't know who they are.
