Us, Fulham, Cardiff, and Sunderland. One of them has to survive, even though none of them deserve it.

I also think Villa and West Ham have been lucky, too. They're almost as bad, and but for a game (e.g. our home game with Villa) they could be down with us.

How can a squad like Palace's end up half way in the table? This really has to be the worst Premiership for a long time, at least at the bottom.

A bit like the last time we were relegated from the Premier League - the bottom four were really poor that year.

The gap between top and bottom isn't getting any smaller, that's for sure.

By two o'clock tomorrow, Sunderland will have nudged us into the bottom three, still with a game in hand on that three, all of whom will be playing in the Championship next season.

We just have to pray for a draw between Sunderland and Cardiff today. A win for either would not only take them above us, but give them that little bit of momentum that would probably take them clear. A draw keeps them both in the mire.

Man U aren't even close to being as good as Chelsea this season, regardless of how they'll have nothing to play for every one thinks they'll be, and united tore us a new one yesterday so I feel another one is on the cards again.
Players have come out this week stating that they know their in a fight now and how up for it they are !
Didn't see to much of that yesterday? I do wonder if some of them are already down in their own minds and thinking about their next move?
I'm gutted today, not by the result but by the performance.
    I fear the worst now.

Maybe they are not just very good players. At the match yesterday, and there was no difference in the team to the last time we played Utd in the cup. They can't pass the ball first time, they can't make movement to offer the player with the ball opportunities, the final ball was woeful (we had got into some very good positions). I noticed that the heading was dreadful-unable to direct a header in the middle of the park or in defence. Clearly we play like a championship side and most of the players should not be playing at a higher level. The best moment was when the fans sang you'll never walk alone and the Man Utd fans pissed off response. My 5 visits to the teams in the north west this season has the overall score of 22-1 (at least I've seen a lot of goals)

table does not lie, we are not good enough , we can never be more than a bottom half PL team and that involves a 30% chance of the drop every year, if its our turn then so be it, football in the CCC is more entertaining, I am not bothered about the bank balance as long as the club is safe and Mr McNally has done a good job of fixing that bit I hope

got my tickets for Chelski not giving up til the end!

The only thing I am concerned about is the dramatic reduction in games I can watch <wah> If we are lucky enough and get a decent start to the new season in the Championship, then maybe we will get more exposure, as QPR did this season. There might be as many as 12 live games to enjoy, but if the start is garbage, we will be lucky to get 2 or 3 games shown live.
