Maybe but I doubt it. He showed me a pic quickly on his phone though I didn't really study it. Just said 'in town'. Will text him now to see if he will forwarded it to me. Will have to Photoshop to protect the innocent. <laugh> He didn't record the conversation thoguh so could still be bullshitting. Thing is he's not the type.

After his first season and clear ability, to lose Michu in this way would be disgraceful. I also don't Canas has done much wrong on the pitch and Poz has lots of potential. If true then so much for Monk's man management.

Need a manager who will at the very least persuade our better players to stay.

Didn't post this as an indictment of Monk to be honest. I have no idea whether he's right or wrong but he obviously has issues with two players that were regularly getting on the pitch previously. I've been told it's attitude on and off the pitch but I'm only repeating what I've been told.

As the saying goes don't shoot the messenger. <ok>

Some players have got ahead of themselves and we need to remove those causing issues in the dressing room, so I will support whatever is deemed necessary to get back to a happy squad, I'm sure Huw and Garry will resolve the issue now that the pressure is off us!..............<ok>

PS: And something clearly is up with Poz as he has not been on the bench since Monk taking over!

Well that's my point Phil. It kind of fits doesn't it? I also happen to think that Michu's continuing injury woes are complete bullshit and the Club is covering up. That's my personal opinion only.

I agree too regarding Michu, but I do think with him it's more frustration with his season and injury, though he really needs to get his focus back if he wants to resurrect his career!...............<ok>

OK here it is. Only means that my mate had a pic taken with him if you want to be pendantic. I've chopped my mate's face off in Photoshop but that's Poz.

Daiswan: Still believe one of our players wasn't out last night? <laugh>

Well I won't be gutted to lose Pozuelo or Cañas as I feel they haven't really improved on what we already had, but I will be saddened if Michu goes as he is a guy who gives his all for the cause, it's just been a ****ty season for him coupled with the ****ty way the club is being handled.

Hope he stays, but I also think he'll be gone - probably back to Spain.

A bit presumptuous of a caretaker coach to be telling players they'll never play for us again. I hope this isn't true as it shows the player and GM in a very bad light.
The only reason I'm not accepting it as gospel (it could be true) is I spent the first half today listening to someone behind me recall and retell to young women (none of whom sounded like regulars) the incident with Monk and Chico in great detail and with significantly venom that I'd heard before. But I know the guy and know for a fact he wasn't there. But it made a good story.

That has nothing to do with this story Bob tough I know what you mean.

We have Daiswan saying our players wouldn't be out on a Friday night even if they weren't playing and we have a pic proving otherwise. I have no reason to disbelieve my friend when he tells me that this conversation happened as he wouldn't make it up and why would he anyway? He could have just said he had a beer with Poz and left it at that. I also know he was out last night for the first time in ages.

Also, it fits with neither hide nor hair of Canas nor Pozuelo being seen lately since Monk's appointment whilst Daiswan clearly doesn't know why either.

People can believe what they like, it's only a forum. But there's legs in this story imo.

You blame management for a petulant prima-donna who by the way has failed to impress since he arrived? Swans will cope easily without Poz and Canas, replacing Michu will be a tough ask going on last seasons form but since about late March 2013 we could have done well to keep playing Graham!

A mate of mine also saw Canas earlier. They'd just finished training apparently and Garry Monk had made fun of his hair also said he tackles like a girl. so canas had just gone mental and on his way home from training he was just headbutting everyone

Canas did not appear to be making it for me, making silly faces for the camera in the prematch build ups, no idea why he would have the nod over Leon? Poz seemed to have potential but not delivered really.

Hope Michu will return with the right attitude. Others were there for the future and if they leave so be it!
