    http://thespectatorsview.com/2014/0...-to-snap-up-young-manchester-united-striker/?

Manchester United are in risk of losing the promising young star after failing to agree terms on a new deal; a pattern that is becoming increasingly synonymous with the club. The likes of Paul Pogba, Ravel Morrison and Zeki Fryers, three very talented players, have all left Manchester United over the past few seasons, and have gone on to prove their worth at other clubs, especially Pogba who is now supposedly worth more than Gareth Bale.

The 21-year-old has been on loan at Wigan and QPR, and has impressed scouts from home and abroad. The likes of Arsenal, Palace and Norwich have also been linked with the starlet, who is a regular in the England U21 team.

In an added twist, Paul Pogba, who played alongside Keane in United’s youth and reserve sides, has recommended him to Juventus as well, after their club scouts sought an opinion on the striker.

Keane was making rapid progress in United’s reserves up until suffering a cruciate ligament injury while playing for England U19s in May 2012.

Keane was ever-present for the reserves in the league in 2011–12, scoring 14 times in 22 appearances, as well as four more in seven cup appearances. Indeed, his best performance to date actually came against us, when he scored four goals in a 6–3 win away to Newcastle reserves back in April 2012 to confirm Manchester United as winners of the Premier Reserve League North.

There is no doubt that Newcastle will be in the market for a striker this Summer, hopefully two, and whether Will Keane can fill that void is another issue. But it is refreshing to see us being linked with young ENGLISH talent, at least.

Like the lad. But if Giggs has anything to do with it, he won't be leaving.

Say this earlier on QPR board and their fans really don't don't seem to rate him at all.

If he ticks the all important 'cheap' box then MA rates him.

Think we need more than 2 strikers to be signed in the close season.

I'd love for a younger English forward to come in and have a similar impact to Harry Kane at Tottenham.

    I'd prefer Ayoze Perez though.

Can't say I've seen this guy. Preferable to have young british players, but they have to be good enough.

Perhaps if we're struggling against relegation, Ashley will employ Sir David Moyes and save us! :emoticon-0136-giggl
