My favourite ever away game. Went down as a young 14 year old, every bus and car going down had a Newcastle scarf or flag hanging out of it. There was about 20k black and whites there at least. Match of the day that night didn't play the theme music introduction, just a view of the Newcastle fans behind one of the goals singing "Howay the lads." Magical day, one I'll never forget.

I was at that game. The only time I can ever remember everything going absolutely right for a change. Lou Reed might have been inspired to write 'Perfect Day' about it.
