Exactly - he was on 45 before he signed a new deal - I very much doubt he signed a new deal on the same terms!
I find this article difficult to believe but just thought I would share it, seems the media were convinced by Levy's statement. Anybody see what Wilshere said? - http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896...-well-at-spurs-but-he-needs-to-play-champions
It would be sad to see the back of Modric. Truly brilliant player. Harry is not going to be the manager from next summer so difficult for him to sell and think about new players with an eye to the future. He will want results immediately and this concerns me. My thoughts are get as much money as possible for him & keep it until next summer. In the meantime get Scott Parker & Joe Cole to shore up the midfield. Lennon & bale on the wings.
It's got **** all to do with Wilshire. Just another poor attempt from a player to get involved in the rivalry.
I've said it before and I'm sure I'll say it again, but Wilshere is just another Joey Barton in the making. Actually, I've got more respect for Barton, as he appears to be trying to change.
Wilshere is an immature child, who thinks that he's behaving like "a man". In fact, he's behaving like a Chav idiot. He's a talented player, IMO. But he needs to grow up - Fast!!
You can only assess people on the actions that they've done, not what they might do in the future, SNIOM. Barton appears to have cleaned up his act, stopped drinking and hasn't done anything stupid off-field for a while, now. Wilshere keeps getting arrested and talking crap on twitter. He strikes me as the kind of player that will write provocative messages like this and then cry about it when he gets stick from the fans that he's trying to annoy.
Players generally don't hate the rivals of their club nowadays It's all about money/trophies/CL. That's why you have Campbell moving to Arsenal and Gallas moving to Tottenham. Twenty years ago Mabbutt and Adams would never have moved.
That just proves that he's a twat, not that he hates Spurs, SNIOM. It also sounds like an embellishment made by journalists. How many times is a statement about Jack Wilshere being 'full of remorse' and 'aware that his actions were wrong' going to be issued? Too many, I fear.
It makes for a better story if Wilshere's spitting at a cabbie because he supports Spurs, rather than just because he's a pissed up twat that's been told he's not getting in. I'd suggest that it's an embellishment, SNIOM.
Remember the last NL derby Wilshere came on and tried to bully VDV. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iw02US4QL6k One of many great Van Der Vaart moments last season. VDV > Wilshere.
I suppose that I, rather prematurely, discounted the possibility that Wilshere IS just a Chav idiot! Time will tell.
