Again, no, that's not what I said, is it? I stated that Klopp had no reason to leave Dortmund for Man Ure. I'm sure the Manchester United job is a very attractive one to almost every football manager on the planet - the trouble being that, like most other Man Ure fans, you seem to think that all the best managers in the world are just waiting for the chance to go to Old Trafford Deluding yourselves that Moan Utd are the biggest and best club in the world and can simply have their pick of any manager. Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and arguably a few others besides, are easily on a par with Manchester United these days.
Don't waste your time entertaining his quality banter... We've had such an influx of wonderful new posters these past few days
It's just that he calls us Man Ure, uses smileys and, like, neg repped me and everything. I'm guessing in the region of twelve. Or that he's down's or something.
I can't believe pundits are actually entertaining the idea of the Class of 92 actually managing the team long term. This is when you get all sorts of crazy ideas being spouted. The thinking here is that somehow a dedicated love and understanding of the club is apparently all you need to be a successful manager. Bloody hell!
Just goes to show what an almighty f@#k up this was to begin with. This time a round the board are meeting, discussing options, going through all of the top-level candidates, making tentative enquiries, appointing trusted interim staff to ensure continuity - begs the bloody question why they let Fergie pick Moyes in the first place. How come they can see the importance in all this now, but not then. Had the board done their collective jobs in the first place we wouldn't be in this position.
I think an immature 15 year old is my guess. Must be exciting sitting at school all day thinking of clever derogatory nicknames for opposition clubs and their fans... Joker, I bet that heartbeat really gets going when you come home and sit down at your PC for a good Keyboard Warrior session.
I'm a neutral ... I'm also someone who tends to look for some middle ground or balance in opposing views by my nature .... but on this I can safely say you are wrong .. You might hate to admit it, but travel around the globe and it is readily apparent that United are the biggest club football brand in the world by some distance - and way ahead of some of the teams that you have mentioned ... that will hardly be lost on either prospective managerial candidates or indeed players ...
This I travel to the Far East quite often. The support ( and I mean it in its fullest deepest sense ) for united is astounding. We have the armchair fans here in the uk for all teams ( we know some of them on these boards. ) but in some of these countries they live and breathe United since childhood. The rivalry with other teams can be immense. Fights and riots are not uncommon. The decline in United fortunes would have affected millions of people all over the world.
Until an experienced internationally acclaimed manager arrives, (hopefully in good time for next season), I am reassured by the team below. (Only Beckham missing!)
