Yes, it was in town today at that crossing between Prinny Quay and the Maritime Museum. I didn't know why it was happening. Gathered lots of attention though.
It's generally parked, or whatever you do with trains, at the back of the museum. Why is it called a land train? Where else would one be?
No no no ! Only window lickers would get on that thing, and then they'd get seriously hurt when falling out onto the rerd, trying to lick none existent windows.
Yeah what does that make a normal train? Do they not run on ****ing land then? I have been on the Sky train from Newark airport.
Pretty certain this one that OLM is talking about (pictured) is on loan from Brid. Mally Welbourne's is a garishly coloured land train that is to loop from the new town to the old town.
Saw the same train in the same place today. That man with the flat nose was sat at the back with a microphone round his face being hyperactive. I believe that is the locally famous Wally Melbourne.
Apologies WhittlingStick. I didn't mean to dislike your post. This thread was moving all over the place in my smartphone's browser.
Although it could seem a gimmick anything that puts more emphasis on affordable (hopefully) public transport at the expense of the motorcar is a very good thing.
