I think we should hire Carragher as our Assistant Manager.

Seeing his mug at training every day and being reminded that Liverpool are reigning champs will motivate our players more than anything else will <whistle>

    It won't happen.

However I'd like it if it did. Keane is a winner and knows what is expected at United.

    Doesn't Keane have a new job already<whistle>

Still, that doesn't mean it won't happen, just less likely.

How could he walk away from an assistant manager role with that unbelievable Irish national side<whistle>

I would rather see Giggs as Van Gaal's assistant, should the latter get the job.

I would imagine integrity is a trait a manager should have. A proven devious liar like giggs who can go on with a fallacy for 8 years is hardly material for a long term manager. We are not talking football skill here remember.

Keane great spirit and a great player but he hardly draws people to him, I think man management will always be Keane's failing.

Take it from an Ipswich Town fan, you don't want Keane anywhere near your Club in a management capacity!

Ignoring all the usual bollocks spouted by many on this thread, let's be serious.

Super combustible van Gaal as manager with super combustible Roy Keane as assistant.

Neither of which knows whether he will get on with the other but in all likelihood won't.

    Now, really?

You might as well go for the full set, bring Bruce, Pallister, Ince, Irwin and Hughes back aswell.

You're going to need a bigger dugout ffs
