I think we will try and keep as many as we can personally, but Garrido is pants in any league, Hoolahan just because he won't want to play in the Championship and likes the look of Villa, Bassong will want to go and has been a bit ropey of late.

Anyone think we will struggle to keep Ruddy if we go down?

Bassong on past form (Newcastle) won't want to stay, but it is surely going to be a hell of a lot harder for him to find somewhere this time round?

Yeah, Ruddy may well be snapped up. I reckon Chelsea might go back again, though Schwarzer looked decent last night.

I think Garrido could do an excellent job next season should we go down, that's his standard if you ask me. Hopefully we casn keep hold of Olsson, but if not then Javier could be vital.

The only one I really want shot of is Bassong, partly to get his wages off the bill but more importantly because his heart just doesn't seem in it this year and some of his performance have been dreadful.

The worst case scenario is that we go down, Ipswich go up and buy some of our players. The players then go on to be brilliant and keep them up <yikes>

That looks about right, though I think Snodders is probably closer to "will go"?

Of the ones released, unless they can't be persuaded to sign a contract I'd really like us to keep Turner and Tettey. Pilks too if his injury isn't permanent.

Snoddy could go either way I think. Depends if he's feeling up for the challenge of the Championship and/or if plenty of Prem teams want him.
I think we may well end up 'cutting our losses' with Pilks. Shame really.
I'd also like to keep hold of Fox for some depth/cover, but he's probably getting rather frustrated with the club.
I could see Tettey and Turner maybe signing new contracts, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if they don't.

can't imagine too many will stay in a prem - how many QPR, reading or Wigan players are in the top league this year?

Figueroa at Hull, Remy at 'toon, McCarthy at Everton and Marriapa at Palace? off the top of my head that's all i can think of.

i'd say 2 maybe 3 would go to PL teams. Some would go abroad potentially.

True - he certainly gives all the right signs of being passionate. He was linked with Celtic though, which I think will really appeal.

Does anyone know what is up with Pilks, I'm pretty sure someone said they'd heard he has shin splints and can barely train

In the midst of a battle against almost certain relegation, it's memories like these that bring warmth to my heart and a smile to my face

The only player I would like to take off your hands would be Johnny Howson! A very good player imo and I would like to see him link up with Ross McCormack! As for the rest they are all pretty much run of the mill players!

Maybe Becchio will become a Norwich legend if we go down!
