Congrats me ducks. although not wishing to be a party pooper but...the previous three champions were Cardiff, Reading and QPR - seems to be a bit of a poisoned chalice
Oh bloody hell, thanks for that reminder. I'm fairly confident NP has the know how to steer us to safety.
When we win the prem next season Dyer will surely be the first person to have champions medals from all 4 top divisions. (To anyone who can only read things literally, that was a round about way of saying dyer has won league 2,1 and the champ now.)
1. Cardiff aren't down yet 2. Reading won the league (by a point), but it was really Southampton that dominated it from day one. They're doing fine thanks. 3. QPR did survive for one season - like Hull will!
Bit difficult to compare us to those three. Cardiff have been an absolute ****ing shambles. They bought ****e for millions and got rid of everyone the players and fans wanted to keep. Reading got promoted on an insane run led by a 34 year old Jason Roberts, they then kept pretty much the same squad and suffered (also got rid of their manager). QPR went up and were doing well. They then got rid of their manager and Hughes bought a load of ****ing **** for a lot of money. Redknapp was appointed and he did the same but went one step further and relegated them. So long as we go up, buy the right players for the right price, stay by the man who has been just brilliant for us and keep the team spirit (tough ask for all of that) then we'll go from strength to strength.
Only just seen this guys, had loads on Honest Congrats to you lot. Thoroughly deserved and hopefukly you'll do ok in the Prem. I'd like to be able to give you a reason you shouldnt go up but cant TBH. Maybe the fact that you arent as big a club as us??... good luck guys and well done With a bit (a lot) of luck we may see you there......
