HBA in crunch talks (again)

Don't think many will argue with you on that one.

 

HBA is paid on his current contract £65,000 per week basic salary, that is £3,380,000 a year basic before any bonuses or add on payments, I may be wrong but getting paid over £3 million quid a year to play kick about should be a bit of a motivating factor.

 

I don't think money is a great motivator. Once you've got it, you get used to it and doesn't motivate you any more. I see what you mean though, but having someone who can inspire you, someone who you look up to, who you'd want to run through brick walls for would make a big difference.

 

To be fair to Ben Arfa he looks more and more capable of doing this as the weeks roll by

 

HBA is not a 14 year old kid, he should be inspiring the younger players, he should be the one that others look up to and he should be motivating the players around him, there are many players up and down the leagues who don't have his talent but they succeed as professional footballers by working hard and they inspire others in doing so.

 

Exactly. Lad is 27 going on 12. Not interested in the professional bit of professional football. Nothing to do with the manager.

Good. He was bringing shame on that shirt anyway. And it didn't really fit him.

 

He had a good game in him when he was up for it, the only problem being he was very rarely up for it lately.

 

I think the only thing Ben Arfa was up for lately was a spicy mountain burger meal from Chicken Cottage.....
