and there it is again glory, no reasoning at all ... so let me help you ... Haigh - put his own money in to save us when GFH sought to play silly buggers, brought Cellino to the table, I'm not at all concerned he left because Cellino wants to do things his way and so be it ... McD - enough has been said of, he will be sacked ... Brown - a fcuking statue who is clueless when players show a bit of movement, so his "bite" is rendered useless, time for him to go ... see, I don't hate people for the sake of it, it's a waste of time ... Haigh was never going to have a future under Cellino, but I acknowledge he helped us when needed ... McD is a good manager who won't get another season ... Brown is finished and should retire

Ffs for a Bloke who seems quite intelligent you seem to have a few blind spots.

Haigh is a speculator... He invested his money for one reason and one reason only..... To turn a riskless profit....
He fecked it up... And he won't turn a huge profit.... He will however receive a return of approx 6% on the £1.6mill he put into the club when Cellino pays him off.... That's about £100k.. He will be able to get a box old toilet with that to watch his beloved scum.

.... Always follow the Money.... No hating here, if I could afford it I would have no moral compass either.

In regards to Haigh - I have read two reports, one saying his investment was at 6% and one at 7% maybe it was two split loans. I also saw a report printed on here just prior to Cellino winning the court case that a tax bill had not been paid BUT Haigh has had £600k of his loan repaid. I think Haigh failed at his job, I am glad to see the back of him, I don't hate him but he is certainly not a hero, he didn't invest money to save us, he did it to earn interest and a healthy amount at that considering the short amount of time he had to loan it.

What other team would entertain a manager who hast already masterminded 21 defeats in a season. I would hazard a guess, any one of us on here could not do worse if we got the chance. He's being paid 700k a week for his bullshit which isn't too bad either and another big payout around the cormer

There is nothing that could come from getting rid two games before the end of the season. May as well have someone there to take the full fall, while MC looks for the right guy to bring in

There's no advantage in keeping him in charge for the next two games unless his contract deems he receives less of a payoff on losing his job if he completes the season.

There must be some financial aspect which is beneficial to the club by retaining his services until after the final game. That's the only reason I can think of as to why he's still in a job.

Just as bewildered myself - New man in, take a proper look at what he has and ascertain what he needs along with Cellino in preparation for next season, personally I feel there is everything to gain letting the players and staff know what to expect when they report back. That is unless the new man cannot join just yet, maybe Cellino has his eye on someone not currently available?

If we sack McD close season or after the last game a new guy comes in and the first time he meets the players is when they report back for pre-season. Not ideal for the players left or the manager. Get someone in NOW if possible, his retain list might be completely different from McD's

McD WILL be sacked, that's a given ... think his contract states a huge drop in compensation from July, so he will be dust then for sure ... key thing is Cellino has to bite his tongue and behave until then to save a pile of cash ... as for retained list Cellino will decide, not McD or anyone else

That he maybe sacked is probably right Billy. But there is still a chance that BMD will surprise Cellino and have a credible plan for next season. Time will tell and yes most on here want to see change, but it's not the guaranteed certainty you say it is. You never know. BMD might just surprise us.

How does sacking him in a few weeks save a ile of cash?

I have no idea of his contract details, but lets say he earns 700k pa now and from July 1 - June 30 2015 it is 500k pa.

May and June is 116.666. July - June '15 is 500k.

Sack now - he gets 616.666k.

    Sack Jul 1 - he gets paid 116.666 for May - June and 500k for July - Jun '15 = 616.666k.

So club saves nothing, other than if they hire a replacement right away, in which case there is an additonal period when 2 managers on the payroll. Is that what you meant?

Thats because Stewart had already played for 2 clubs this season which meant he wasn't able to be signed on a season loan, only an emergency 3 month loan whereas Kebe was signed on a season loan so stays for the remainder of games left regardless.

And I think people will find that most season loans, they are your player for the season regardless of injury, emergency loans are set up very different. I'm only 80%ish confident on that so correct me if I'm wrong.

I do find this an amazing statement, not sure how you can say their isn't any sustainable arguments against him. I like McD, think he is a good manager but he has done poorly at Leeds no doubt. The game is a results business, and don't get clouded in the fact he has had a hard time here, many a managers have had harder times at clubs. Distractions only effect you as much as you let them effect you. The only thing that has currently saved him his job is the fact that the club has been a bit of a joke for a little while now, McD himself has admitted that also.

Whether he is the man to take us forward or not is a separate argument.

Oh no, cannot agree with Brown getting another contract< him not being the worst midfielder in the squad does not mean he is good enough. A very one dimensional player.

But then whats the point in sacking McD and putting Redfearn in charge for the last 2 games of the season, no danger of relegation. Only point of sacking McD would be if there was a direct replacement available immediately to have a look at the squad and even then I wouldn't see the point. Cellino can just be taking the new manager to Elland road every game for the rest of the season without people knowing and not paying him a wage so he has a look at the team if he really wants to, not that I am at all saying thats happening.

<laugh> that must be the biggest load of ****e I've ever read

You're a mid table championship club, and even then you're not a mid table one currently.

You're approaching your anniversary of 10 years absence of top flight football

There's no premium stigma attached to leeds united anymore, teams in the football league have been amongst you for a decade now, there are bigger fish in the pond that is the Championship

You can't even sell out your home games for such a big city

    Stop living in the past
