    This is very true. Ed Chamberlain (MNF presenter) mentioned that while he watches the normal camera in the studio Carragher and Neville watch the overhead camera to have a view of all the players.

    Before monday night football i hadn't actually picked up on the centre backs sitting too deep.

    I still however, think the problem is the full backs (particularly johnson) letting players cross too easily.

    It's not anyone player's fault. I'd lay this to BR's doorstep. If he were displeased with the 4 defenders and Gerrard/Lucas doing tiki-taka at the back, he'd have instructed them otherwise. If he were displeased with defence sitting too far back while defending, he'd have told them to press higher. He didn't do either.

    Maybe Norwich pushed us to it at the beginning (late first half), but then it was us who didn't react and were glad to manage pressure in our defensive third.
