We are in the safe hands of Giggs until the end of the season at least. I do hope that SAF doesn't foist another friend on the club for next season.
Van Gaal would be a disaster for United imo, his best days are behind him and is approach is also out of date. He'd be an awful appointment imo and for that reason I hope he gets it
United will use whatever way to arrest the slide. The old philosophy of long term management has been ditched. We are in for a period of rapid firing and sacking. I said in January that the fans should expect much worse to come after we lost a high profile match. I have seen this before and if history repeats itself we are in for some turbulent (exciting ?!) period.
He stabbed himself in the face mate. Failure to get the reigning Champions into the top 4 was always going to cost him his job and rightly so.
He turned down a number of jobs while at Wigan, notably the RS, so you're just a bitter sheep worrier
Be it Klopp, van Gaal or whoever.... next season is going to be so much better than this. The names we are being linked with is so much better than last year when Moyes was named as the next manager basically straight away.
I think that a fair assesment. There wasn't much public support from the senior players but he only has himself to blame for that. Moyes ultimiately got the sack as he wasn't good enough for United from day one. .
We were going long term. Moyes was supposed to be longer term. He is a good manager but his most important mistake (which I have said here as soon as he did it) was to sack the coaches. He in an instant removed the last link for the players with the sucess they have had over the years. When Fergie made a mistake (which he did on many occasions) the senior players had to shut the f**k up. or else they will out on the ear. Do you as a player argue with the best manager in the world, with a sackful of tropies? no you don't. But when Moyes made a mistake, the senior players would not hesitate to express their disppaoval because in their eyes they were better as they had more trophies and more experience than the manager...Giggs, Scholes, Rio Rooney and the others... I can see us going short term with a manager who has won some trophies at a big club...
