Moyes set to become next QPR manager.

Now he has been "officially" sacked I thought I would make it up before the journos.

 

He'd be useless, what with the spectre of Harry Redknapp watching him from the stands each week...

Agreed,the worst thing our club could do is have a 'Director of Football' watching over the manager .............. it never works out.
Just hope we can find a manager who is young enough and fresh enough with ideas, yet not too wet between the ears.

 

As much as we're prob all against him coming to QPR.

IF he were to come next year and we were up, he'd prob keep us up and stabilsie. I've personally never liked him but he kept Everton in a decent place for years.
I know you cant compare us but the point being he knows how to keep a team up.

For anyone to say they wouldnt want him because of the Man Utd Comedy fest, is like we wouldnt take Maclaren because of the England job...ooppss sorry, a few did say that didnt they?...

Moyes is a good manager. I think MU are making a mistake because any manager would have had a difficult first season. I don't know who they're going to find who they think is better.

 

Agree. I'll be interested to see what tales come out now, about how he related to the ManU players. There are rumours the dressing room wasn't convinced. Did he fail to connect or are the players a bunch of primadonnas who needed Fergie-type aggression to keep them in check?

 

Maybe we should send Jim Magilton to them, so that he can take off his shoe in his half time team talks.

Like him or loathe him, the whole sorry spectacle has shown what a great manager SAF was IMO.

Any manager would have been sacked, he was left with a massive job just like the job here if a new bloke takes over this summer.

He was left with an ageing team which was not very good.
