Looks legit, nearly all major news outlets reported the news of an imminent sacking simultaneously, as if there'd been a tip-off from inside. Not sure what this does for us, I'd have rather Moyes stayed, but perhaps a disorganised week could help us. If they get a new man in, it might take a while for them to settle. I just hope they don't turn to the boardroom for an interim manager to finish the season off. Edit: Supposedly there'll be an official announcement at 4pm, Giggs is being tipped to take over for now.
cant see fergy coming back not even for a couple of games, he maybe pulling the strings though but that hasnt worked with moyes and he was fergy's 1st choice. Man U's days at the top are finished IMO, it makes no difference to us what so ever, we have to win every game and just need to stay focused, im sure our club will be protecting the players from all the media hype right now.
I think this can only be seen as good news. Giggs has no chance of a full time role as manager and their players will not be playing with the same level of desire as ours will be. With no manager to play for and no desire for Europa league football they are now just seeing the season out and hoping they don't finish 6th. Think man city away last season for this game, we must go there committed and take it to them.
