It was indeed the Bristol Rovers match. In fairness, Bristol played their part bringing over 2,000 fans (almost selling out their allocation), but with the current health and safety restrictions (yes, I know the ground is falling apart) restricting capacity it was close to a sell-out.
Well, every club is dependant upon the Away supporters to bring up the crowd level to absolute capacity. We sell out several times a season and yet we never quite get to our limit. Doesn't help that there is often a divide between Home and Away supporters.
Glee covering Robbie Williams, without any hint of irony or parody, is the very definition of "hell on earth"....
If Glee covers Robbie Williams, they'll have still covered plenty of worse songs. The Fox, Gangnam Style, copious amounts of Lady Gaga, some terrible Scissor Sister's song, etc etc
I said I wouldn't get drawn in. Glee, no. But I'm a Robbie fan and I don't know if I should be ashamed to say so.
Of course you shouldn't be, he's done some great songs: Feel, Something Beautiful, Eternity, Misunderstood, Advertising Space, etc. Let's just pretend Rudebox never happened.
I would say that it has gone off topic. But Joe is right, it was a poor thread from the start. Someone could get it back on track or I can close it.
